    Australia post and most other parcel delivery services don’t leave stuff at the door they take it to the local post office for customers to collect unless the customers ask for it to be left in a safe place And many online shops won’t let the delivery driver leave it unless the customers are there to sign for it , it maybe a expensive item

    I just did a 4 hour block in Brisbane for the first time. 50 drops and 55 parcels. Took 5.25 hours. Didn't get paid any extra for the overtime. Honestly its a scam and borderline fraud to call it a 4 hour block. Works out $2.52 per parcel. NEVER AGAIN!!! Nearly dumped half of it at the nearest police station, and in hindsight I should have.

    @Somethingelse373 Před rokem

    positives: 1. No people to carry or chat to! 2. Listen to your music whilst working 3. Can finish earlier than the time allocated ie 4 hr bock finish in 2 4. Vehicle is completely anonymous 5. don't need GST registration 6. Any age car or type except utes open tops NEGATIVES: 1. Given random areas so never know where you're going 2. A 4 hr shift can take longer than expected 3. Dogs 4. Risk of parking fines 5. Customers complaining never received their parcel & amazon sending you an email with no information but a veiled threat to dismiss you 6. Sometimes they give too many parcels that won't fit in the car 7. Heavy Parcels 8. Commercial address to deliver but they are closed. 9. Have to return to depot by 10am the next day for any undelivered parcels. ( more petrol and time expense) 10. No parking in certain areas 11. Multiple high-rise deliveries where there is no lift access due to security or lift not working 12. Delivering to customer's address where it is very hard to access in a vehicle ( easier for posties on bikes) 13. Getting out you vehicle repetitively 30 to 50 times (lots of wear and tear on the car as well as your self,easier in van )

      @nicktubara Před rokem

      @@shaneblackwood9052 lol 250 drops a day? thats a bit unrealistic i mean sure if the drops are within distance if theyre in a complex or in a neighbourhood where theyre close to each other. 250 is quite pushing it imo, there are other factors to consider like what time you start, what delivery runs you have, how familiar you with the areas you go to, how you load your parcels in your vehicle so you can have them organised in a way where you dont spend every min or more finding that parcel, what vehicle youre using for delivery work bcos if theres no parking around and youre in a car you cant park in loading zones or you get a ticket. For me anywhere between 50 and 60 plus most definetly.
