My Step-Dad's sister is married to a pilot who flew my grandma over it approx 50 yrs ago after she blew her top. what is that town called that it buried the last time it blew n all the mudslides?
Very cool ! It blew in 1980 that's 44 years ago and I think it was restricted air space because it acted up again in 2002 -3 so maybe before it blew out the side [ not the top] because it blew out the side it was the biggest disaster in American history [ volcano eruption] known it took over 50 lives and many never found still ,and it is still alive and like Living in the ' ring of fire ' there are too many volcanoes that are past due to blow today.
@@HelloitsmeTara ya it was year 1980 and i think they flew over before it really blew. She took picture's while flying over and there was steam n possibly ashes spitting out. My Mom still has them. She stayed there for awhile after the big eruption and got post cards also. If i remember correctly she couldn't fly home to Idaho for awhile because of it. She passed away just a year later. I recall the other eruptions yrs later too.
Sad to hear if your loss💕I'm returning up there this summer to evaluate regrowth and wild life and the conditions of the monument to don't forget to hit the 🔔 so you won't miss anything ! And thank you for sharing your story here 😊
@@HelloitsmeTara it is so beautiful in Washington. I love Mt. Rainier too. It last erupted in the 1800s. Living near either would make residents nervous of they feel any earthquake in sure. That's cool your going up there. I'll be watching.

That's going to be steamed turkey not fried with that lid on it.

@Tarasfrontierlife you've got a point. Hopefully, it turned out well.
It did
the guy telling you to put it in faster is the reason the house will burn down
That's exactly what I was thinking 🤔

Great point!
Mt st helens smokes every now and then. Its a live volcano. Its not dormant .
Correct 💯 hiking on a volcano is pretty nerve racking and scary just knowing it's history !
You better run!!
Was that today??
Be careful!
