Riding the Montesa 4RT on the trails until I lost the rear brake due to overheating. I also lost one of my handlebar mounting bolts. Solo ride on the KDX200.
Small jumps on my Talaria xxx

Small jumps are fun! Longest distance is 9 feet which at 59 is good enough for me and I want to work up to 12 feet. I can go bigger on my YZ250 but on the xxx if you don't hit it right, landing is harsh. This abandoned BMX track has some big jumps but they have pump humps right before the jumps that make me uncomfortable for now.

First visit there, riding the Montesa 4RT and the only motorcycle at the park. Tons of trails, sandy soil that soaks up the rain and plenty of pesky loose rock.

My first visit to Indian Mountain on October 3-4, 2020 and found some great rocks and hills to ride on. Did a nice night ride up God's Path. Looking forward to going again for some more exploring.

Hey im trying to get into dirt biking. I am on the fence between buying the xxx and just saving up more for the mx4. I want to eventually learn to do jumps and crawling and all of that, but i admit ill probably mostly be just riding forest trails and exploring game trails, etc. Do you think the xxx is something that i can still learn all of that stuff on, or should i just save up for the sting R? the $1500 is a big price difference, though ik its 2 different classes of bike. In this video i can see you bottomed out a couple times landing after those jumps.
I you design the jumps properly, it can be a soft landing. You just need to know the xxx limits. If you want to see big jumps on the Sting, check out Tallon Pemberton videos.
First person I have seen really jumping the xxx. How does it handle the jumps? Do you think its worth getting over the surron if I will be able to use it for a longer amount of time?
I have only briefly rode a surron but everyone says the suspension is better on surron and talaria sting.

The suspension is weak and my KX100 handles way better but is too loud. @@samapfel_08

XXX has a large turning radius, at least with the stock triple clamp. For trial riding and tight sections I would prefer if it could be tighter. Did you find any workaround for that?
I cut a little off the rubber stops but the turning radius is still much larger than my gas trials bike. I set the fork damping to zero for tight turns to hop the front wheel.
I'm picking one up tomorrow and could not be more excited about it!

I think you'd get a lot more views if you did a video detailing your upgrades to this bike... since this bike is so new there's not that many videos about upgrades, so if you're first to the party... you might get a ton of hits... I know I'd watch, especially the seat upgrade. Sick bike, subscribed for more content on it.

Around 40sec you pick up a rider (who happens to be me!) do you have any more footage riding that section that I am in?
