StrykePoint Probe in Operation
Mandala Rose Works is thrilled that after several years of development, we are announcing that our StrykePoint Probe is now available!
The StrykePoint is a completely mechanical probe with a nearly identical form factor to the BL Touch. That however, is where the similarity ends.
StrykePoint is unique in that it addresses a lot of problems with probes in one simple unit.
- Not affected by embedded magnets!!!
- Repeatability of 0.004mm (0.0001")
- Handles high chamber temps
(Tested up to 80C, realistically should handle a max of 120C)
- No electronics to be affected by heat
- Can probe any surface from metal, to glass to plastic
- Probe body is printed out of PA-12 Nylon with a glass transition temp of 175C
- Wire has PTFE insulation
- Molex Microfit Connectors
We include a link to a document detailing installation of the probe with Duet and Klipper, which contains wiring information and macros for the correct operation of the probe. Simply scan the QR code on the box!
The probe is unique in that you can choose to automate the deployment and retraction of the probe with a simple printed wedge and a few XY moves, or just deploy and retract it manually. The choice is yours!
We have been using this probe exclusively for several years, and it has exceeded our expectations! We hope it will exceed yours as well!
Probe comes with:
- Assembled, tuned and tested StrykePoint Probe
- 1M of wire with connectors on each end
- Quick release connectors for easy maintenance of your print head
- Online assembly and wiring instructions
Dimensions:
- 56mm Tall
- 26mm Wide
- 17mm Deep
- Mounting Hole Spacing - 18mm
Special thanks to Brett from the Railcore discord for his help and assistance with the Klipper documentation.
Please check out the Adjustable Probe Mount that we have which fits the StrykePoint perfectly, and allows vertical adjustment and fine tuning of the probe height.
Note: Beta period ends when our first batch units run out.

I'm happy to announce the arrival of the "Magnum" Idler Pulleys for the Railcore! The Magnum's allow you to streamline your printer setup - eliminating 2 of the shoulder bolts entirely and allow you to "stack" your smaller toothed idlers with the Magnums. The magnums also simplify the kinematics of the belt system for your printer. In additional to all of that, they look super awesome! They hav...

I'd like to get 2 K1 max beds, but without seeing anyone using them $310+ is a steep jump without knowing what your getting
Feel free to give us a call. Happy to explain it. Number is on the website. You can also join the D3vils Design discord server. There are many uses on there using our beds.
In additional, we have beds out there for Voron, Railcore, Jubilee, Ender, Ratrig and many others. People have been very happy with them as well.
Good vdo. Could u plz make vdo for engrave on metal😊
Good vid thank you. Can you select all the letters and merge them at once to make 1 united word? Thank you.
Not in RD Works.
@@mandalaroseworks thank you. I figured that as I kept looking and looking. Time for Lightburn I suppose.
How do you set up circle pulse? i didi tests on a 81.4mm diameter tube then i changed it to 61.8mm tube and the test i run was totally wrong.
I 3d printed some stops to mount on the right side instead of the 123 blocks. So it is a hard stop as well as being easy to redo the alignment check anytime. I don't adjust the motor slides, just adjust with the MRW belt tensioners. Prusa's 3d printable belt tension gauge is another way to check the belt tension.
hi can you give private lessons for payment?
Vacuum table, nice. Could not figure out what it was on till it came off.
Does it support lightburn software
it does, but bodor doesn't make CO2 lasers anymore.
so i tryed setting up the rotory but the tool ends up not moving
Thank you. Very nice work..👍👍🇩🇿🇩🇿
I dont have option edit bitmap. Why?
I have a scooter windshield that my father used to own I would like to do laser and graving of him and my mother And put On at living forever please Comment back if that could be done thank you for this video
I have CorelDraw X5 I do not see RDWorks (7:40 into video)
Actually, you just saved my day. I said to a customer, as i bought the rotary option within the engraver, that i could do it. But when i came to the sample video provided from the seller on the usb key, it was simply too complicate and unusable (blured video in chinese). With your tutorial video, i was able in second to do the job, and he didn't noticed :-) So please, have a BUD for me, even if the gallon is at an awfull price :-)
AWESOME WORKOUT
what taps are you using? I can't find taps for mine.
I bought all the inch based adapters from tormach, and I use whatever tap I buy. I get most of mine from MSC Direct.
so i tryed setting up the rotory but the tool ends up not moving
Worked like a charm. thanks. I just need to play with the power for my laser. Now if i could just get the rdworks plugin to work on corel 2021
Good job!
I love you!
Hi its nice to see thx for sharing. I was wondering what would be the rocking dimensions for rosettes to the one you are machining, also the diameter. Thx
Thanks, got it working but getting path errors. Probably because i am running corel 2021
Ga ngerti ah
nice, are you happy with your Chinese machine?
So far so good. It's been treating me well and is very consistent. I would never buy direct from China tho. Zero support.
Ain’t nobody got time for that
I am having a trouble to add the extension of RDworks in coreldraw 2019. Kindly help me. Thanks
Need some help
Felicitaciones por la obra de bien....y gracias por los archivos stl para poder seguir ayudando a las mascotas que lo necesiten. Todo un ejemplo👏
This helped her greatly since she was so smol. He did a wonderful job on it.
Hello, I purchased the z plates for jubilee. The assembly instruction link is not working and I cannot find any mention of spacer in 3D printed parts? How are those assembled?
This should be the correct link. I've updated the product page too. github.com/machineagency/jubilee/blob/rel/jubilee_2.2.0/frame/assembly_instructions/frame/lower_frame_assembly.pdf
Heartfelt thanks and congratulations for everything she teaches us, I found her by chance and I immediately subscribed to her channel! I have a small business of cutting and engraving wooden shapes and I am self-taught. I have often needed to create writings that follow the contours of circular objects, for example I should engrave an inscription on wooden discs which will then be glued on jars but I have never succeeded, I have always created the writing with word and then the i saved it as an image and worked with rdworks. Is there a faster system? can you please help me? thank you very much
I do most of my design work with Corel Draw. I pretty much only use RDWorks to transfer files to my laser.
@@WadeWendorf yes this is the other system that I use too I hoped it could be done using only Rdwors, but I will continue like this. Thanks for your kind reply and I will often follow your channel, have a nice day!
Thank you very very much!!!!
can you tap left hand thread , use thread forming taps and a depth of 2 inch in aluminum
Thank you Sir
thank you
i check at my USER, don't have Rotating. can help me to solve it. thanks
If there is a double-thumb-up, I will give this video a double-thumb-up. Exactly what I need to know. Thank you!
Your welcome. :)
Will you be able to make one with 200mm more length? I'm exploring options for a Jubilee XL (500mm x 500mm).
Definitely possible. Hit me up on facebook (facebook.com/mandalaroseworks) or discord (@MandalaRose#0616)
How would you do a dark subject? that is my issue. I am trying to do a Black Lab and having a heck of a time getting something I can engrave. I am using a jtech laser and LightBurn. Thanks.
good to see a new post from you, I was worried.
haha, thanks! Just got a little busy. Will be showcasing a new machine somewhat soon tho. ;)
which corel program did you use?
Hi Wade. Are you making the carbide cutter holders?
Nope, parts for 3d printers.
i can't see bitmap handle icon. what's version you used?
oops . get it now on top bar handle menu
Nice, clear video, Wade. I'm just now getting around to installing your belt retainer and clips, and this is a good helpful video.
Hi there. I get as far as installing laserworks. Then when I select “coreldraw laser” and select the “plug RDworks” then click install. I get a pop up message that says “ can’t find the installation of coreldraw “ so I select the locate install path option, and select the coreldraw 2020 folder and then it works. BUT now when ever I open a document on coreldraw I get a message that says run-time error object not found in collection. So I click “end” and my document opens up. But when I try to do the macro step I get the same run-time error message.
Jean Du toit might not support that version of Corel.
thanks for sharing your video. I'd like to ask if you have to change any other settings for the rotary attachment. Do you have to change acceleration and speed from XY-engraving to rotary engraving? By using the standard settings for rotary settings it seems to be very fast, especially when you are plotting the engraved logo.
You need to change the max speed on the front panel down to something like 50mm/s. That's all I ever do.
Hi , do you have G12.1 on your control? I have same controller like yours and mine dont accept polar interpolation :( I can dril holes and mill simple shapes but cant use C axis to mill more complicated parts using Cam. How about you Sir? Also can you adjust speed of that live tool spindle? I cant imagine how it can be controled if you already are using analog 0-10v to operate main spindle ... :)
Sparki really not sure on that I’m afraid. If u look at my other videos I have a c axis job I run.
Thanks mate
Did you recheck the alignment to the 123blocks, after you have tensioned the belts? You would have probably recognise, that tensioning the belts will give you the error again. I'm not convinced, that aligning a non-square y axis with belt tension is the way to do it. The axis shall be parallel to the 123blocks without tension on the belts. Then, one can apply symmetric tension on both belts.
As long as you turn the screws out for each belt the same amount, the alignment stays exactly the same. I have 4 railcores that all behave the same way. It works great.
@@WadeWendorf Thank you for the added info. Now it is clear.
please acrilyc matrial laser photo
thank you for the vid, i'm having this exact problem.
No problem.
