Your apparent love and your proud idea that icelandic is so different than other languages makes you come across as condescending. You can't even pronounce "twitter"... Is there any word more "basic and direct", word you used when teaching how to read "Aaron" in icelandic? Btw, both ways of pronouncing it seam basic and direct, they're just read differently. Grade A on condescending, thumbs up!

Neymar is pronounced "Nay-mahr" although some brazilians, depending on the accent, don't pronounce the "r", being more like "Nay-mah". De Gea is not pronounced as "Deh Gay-ah" as you said as well. It's is pronounced "Deh-heya" with the "h" being read almost as an "r", close to how it is read in arabic, although less intense. It's not as easy as you said apparently, you only had to google "how to pronounce [player's name]"... Saying that it is pronounced exactly as it is written is not a very smart remark as the letters are read differently from language to language...
