Would it be possible to make a 1 time use mold for a buste? As in.. Can i zigzag cut open the alginate after 3 min? Would it be elastic enough or would it crumble after 3 min too?

Mag ik vragen op welk materiaal dit gelijkend is? Is het vergelijkbaar met een kunststof of een soort gips?
Het resultaat is het best vergelijkbaar met Gips maar dan vele malen harder.

Very informative, thank you. How long did it take in real time? (Minus making the clay sculpture, I'm mostly inetersted in how long it took once you started using A1).
It took almost 2weeks from making mold to casting with acrylic resin. Acrylic resin was easy to handle.
OMG I LOVE Zuri designs moulds! I have bought myself 5 or 6 of them now! I just buy them 1-2 at a time every other paycheck IF I can afford them that payday! lol But at least I am not out buying them all at once and having to live in a cardboard box! lol They are addicting to buy because there are no other moulds that come close to having the details that Zuri has! IOD Prima moulds were the ones I bought until I discovered Zuri! Anyways I am really loving that rust resin you showed! This video was done over a year ago do you know if I can get that rust resin in the US now? If so where can I get it? Thank you!!!!

Is dit ook geschikt voor kleinere siliconen mallen met veel details? Ik zie dat er ook a1 creative is, maar dat is best prijzig.
A1 is met name geschikt voor silicone mallen met veel details. Tijdens het uitharden heeft A1 een klein beetje expansie waardoor alle fijne details perfect voor weergeven.
@@AcrylicOne Heb je het nu over de substantie in het filmpje of de a1 creative? Beide beginnen met a1. Ik denk het eerste, maar vraag het toch maar even voor de zekerheid.

Hi how long did it take to cure?
It will start to cure after approx 20 minutes and is hard enough to demould and to handle after 1 to 2 hours. Curing will continue for a few days depending on the A1 object and temperature/humidity of the environment.

at first? probably standard sculpting clay, not necessarily pottery clay.
Actually I used ordinally water based clay made in Thailand. but It was slightly too fine glanded easy to clack...

Can i hard coat EPS/XPS without fiber glass? I don't need it to be like very very strong, i just want the corners not to round when i press them..
It could work depending on the density/hardness of your EPS/XPS, the thickness of the A1 layer (minimum 3 mm) and of course what kind of external force the object has to withstand. For outdoor use we would always suggest to use Triaxial Fibre reinforcement as the EPS/XPS might expand and contract as a result of thermal influences.
