One of the best underdog stories I've seen in figure skating...along with this, Butyrskaya finally winning Worlds, Hughes coming from 4th to win the Olympics...but this one is the best. I've been rooting for Sarah to get that gold she's worked so hard for! This made me SO happy.

This is a real life fairy tale, my friends! Back in the day when she competed, she was the very reason I loved watching these competitions- she was the picture of elegance, grace, vulnerability and everything that is beautiful in figure scatting. She looked at scatting as an art, unlike many others who looked at it as a sport. It's easy to see how much this win meant to her, after so many misfortunes in her career, and I am happy that she got her glorious moment to shine like the star she is!
