This is my build of the Moebius 1969 F100. It was my first attempt at any modifications to a model kit. I lowered the chassis, added different wheels and a Ford 302 from another kit #leftcoastmodelcarbuilds

I'm building a custom AMT 1951 Chevy Bel Air for the Kustoms/HotRods Illustrated Group Build hosted by Paul @LeftCoastModelCarBuilds Leaving the 6 cylinder in it, but going with a white car with orange flames and pearl clear, all Tamiya rattle cans. The interior colors TBA later, still struggling with choosing those! lol #leftcoastmodelcarbuilds

This is my model cars and coffee entry. My tribute to my father's build. He built the AMT International Transtar CO-4070a cab over and AMT Trailermobile Moving Van Allied trailer in the 70's. It inspired me to want to build models. Today, he would've turned 89! Happy Birthday Dad! 10-7 The Big Bopper!
Final on my hot rod 40 Ford Coupe

This is the final on my hot rod 40 Ford Coupe. painted with all Tamiya spray cans. White primer, gold base, gloss black flames, clear red and clear coat, 18 coats total! Also used a Texas 3d customs flathead engine, scratch built exhaust and leather interior. Also removed the bumper brackets and filled the holes #Hobbydude007

Whenever I did mine the front suspension gave me fits as well!! I thought I was doing something wrong lol clean build tho

Yeah, you have to build the whole front suspension. Upper, lower control atms, coil springs, and spindles. Probably not a good first kit after getting back into the hobby! Lol. Thanks, you too!

About 30 years ago my wife left me and took me 68 Fairlane. I still miss that car.
