haha yea I was in the position short, and price action looked very weak, but I noticed the $0.50 stop loss on a $14 stock, and that did not feel "normal". So I got out. Huge huge sell off though. Glad to catch another ABCD setup/pullback later on it :)

Hey Sarkis, I would not know. All I see is a significant correction happening -- lot's of weakness on the daily chart, pressured by some, by the market negative interpreted earnings from other tech stocks. NVDA was of course very very extended to the long side as well. Very curious to see how it will develop. The daily chart looked yesterday at the close very weak (breakdown pattern), and today there was a significant sell off again.

Depends on the distance between entry and stop loss. I trade with a fixed risk for each trade!

Yea, we feel that we' like to be active to have a "productive" trading day. Issue is that the majority of times we should not be active, but passive. In addition, there is the issue, that the longer in to the trading day, we gradually lose focus, attention and hereby our inhibition. Our inhibition is crucial to stay passive.

Thanks, yea awesome price action in TSLA. First time taking a position overnight. It was so super clear I had to go for it. That's too bad in GOOGL, therefor it's good to trade together with likeminded traders. Multiple pairs of eyes see more then one pair of eyes.

The volume is not always there yet in the PM. Therefor it's in my opinion best to first select the stocks in our watchlist that we expect to have a higher probability to be in play. Second, we wait until we get the intraday volume confirmation, before we take potentially a setup

No, I don't care at all about it. The bigger the gap, for me only means more volatility and that's a great thing. I assess extended based on actual price action in the PM (waves, patterns etc)

Looking for stocks with an - Average daily volume of 3 million+ - Float of 40 million+ - Price of stock $10+ - ATR %0.50+ Intraday usually at least 130% of RVOL (relative volume)

Yea HE was not good, too choppy after the open. Lesson taken. AMZN, CRWD, and HE were all trades against the direction of the gap. When trading against the gap usually we will be trading in the PM price action so it's less relevant and not something to worry about. The difference is that in AMZN and CRWD, the gap was caused in the PM. For that reason trading in the PM is something that is really almost impossible to avoid, and therefor it does not matter. In HE the gap occurred in the post market. That made HE different and in HE we could avoid trading in the PM price action.

Yea great, beautiful continuation setups and pullbacks in the first 15 minutes. The question is having the guts to get in. Where did you got in?

Issue was the heavy influence from the market (SPY, QQQ) I think. INTC in the end gave a great setup when it broke below the high of the daily range where it gapped above. It sold all the way off to yesterday's high.

It was a very difficult day indeed, big influence from the market. Thanks, I also think it were at least okay setups (perhaps not the best or A+), but definitely okay!
