Now I'm finally diagnosed 🙌🏼 it's closure to what I already felt and knew it's just documented and on paper. I feel so relieved to know and joyful to learn more and more. Shalom Tanja peace and blessings 🙏🏼 Thank you for this channel I am an undiagnosed Autistic woman and wife. My husband is also Autistic. Autism is in both of our families. I called a psychologist office to get diagnosed I guess so people would know by the paper because your told your supposed to right? But I've never been a fall in line individual I march to the beat of my own drum. As does my husband. I know I am and I watched a few channels on CZcams of autistic people real ones on the spectrum and had every last thing they said and do. I've always felt different not many friends social anxiety not a fan of last minute changes, have meltdowns I also have ocd and ADHD it's a lot but I masked for years it was extremely exhausting my husband said no we don't have to hide. So I'm learning to be my true self and no longer worry about being judged. Getting diagnosed would have cost us 1200$ where I live my husband and I said what!! Who cares whether people don't see our paper from the doctor we know and being around us others just know we don't ask people for proof their human so why do I need to prove to people I'm autistic. It's not a one size fits all everyone has different traits granted some try to be autistic and are not I have no clue why one would want to fake it🤷🏽‍♀️ but I don't like people making do something I'm not at peace with or proving myself it feels like isolation and division. I am who I am I may not be someone's cup of tea but I may be someone else's cup of Joe 😊 but I need support and community Even though I'm not diagnosed by a doctor. I am autistic and hope I'm in the right place and a safe place here because I so desire to be in connection with other women like me🙏🏼 I hope I didn't come off wrong I'm just very direct no disrespect.

Hello everyone, I am Stefania, I am 29 years old and I am Autistic and I would like to be able to talk about autism from my perspective. I am from Argentina Mendoza.

We may not be equipped for the typical neurotypical life, but we excel at living life as an autistic individual. This is an insight I strive to communicate to fellow individuals on the spectrum. Regarding diagnosis, what I aspire to see is autistic individuals detecting autism in others, as we possess unique abilities to spot fellow autistic individuals. However, this can only come to fruition if the autism community comes together in solidarity. I believe that unlike neurotypical individuals, all autistic people are aware that what exhausts us is masking. You are absolutely right, Jane, when you say that this neurotypical society loves the mask. As someone who has long observed Western society, even before realizing my own autistic status, I know that they despise us. Historically, this society has struggled with individuals who possess integrity. For centuries, Western society has failed to place individuals of integrity in positions of leadership. For a reason, it is not. On the other hand, I tell everyone who dislikes the trait of integrity alongside that of logic, that they don't belong in the right civilization. After all, the civilization we exist in, which stems from the Greeks, is one that celebrates logic and reason. So, I do indeed belong in the right civilization, and they don't.

The Jobthing to me is the most frustrating. Somehow they still have the weird idea, that we can't do social jobs, yet you are the living proof of it, having this channel and giving autistic women a chance tell their story..
