Concorde from Check-in, incredibly fast take-off! in-flight, and arrival-see sound barrier wave!!
Fly with me on Concorde between London Heathrow and New York JFK in 2002. experience the check-in, taxi, take off at 250 MPH, in-flight to supersonic speed,(faster than most bullets), the service on board, steep approach and landing, (Be sure to watch the landing at 35 knots faster than subsonic aircraft)! And finally a year later towed up the Hudson on a barge to the Intrepid Museum at retirement. Note at the 7 minute mark a shadow moves quickly thru the plane- it’s a reflection of the sound wave with the plane catching up. Record Concorde New York-London was 2 hours, 52 minutes, 59 seconds!

A first class trans -con flight prior to 9/11 on an American Airlines 757 from Newark to Los Angeles. See the Rocky Mountains from the air, the Mojave Desert, Colorado River, Palm Springs and the LA Valley and mountain range on approach to landing at LAX. A quick visit to Beverley Hills and downtown LA with an earthquake, and then a return flight from LAX flying by Santa Catalina Island, Coahel...

Come along on the first non-stop EWR-HKG. The Inaugural of CO flight 99 on March 1, 2001, the first commercial plane to fly over the North Pole in scheduled service!
That was an incredible video, I love the sound of a plane taking off and landing. Imagine flying 1,000 mph, my goodness. I haven't flown on any plane since 1999 and would love to fly again.
lol. Human history for the wealthy and entitled, which was noisy costly and bad for the air then which was declared unsafe because two engines failed. These haven’t been destroyed entirely many are still in bunkers in Norwich, Lincoln, Leeds, London, Manchester, etc. it’s just a plane. Get over it!!
the plane went extinct
Mama mia
What an incredible feat of engineering. I can't believe you cataloged this for future generations like me to see! Thank you
Ah yes the champagne before the flight, plus plenty on board I can tell you !
And yet they couldn’t make any money with it.
She sure was a beautiful bird. WOW!
you were incredibly lucky to have experienced this. my dream was always to travel once in my lifetime on this majestic piece of engineering and beauty ever since my late father bought me a toy concorde as a child. alas, i never got the chance. i always shed a tear whenever i see footage of the concorde and the crew.

Concorde should have continued, should have never been grounded. What a great plane.
please dont ever delete this footage. this is part of human history. Thank you so much for sharing it with the world!
I live at the back of Birmingham Airport, UK. I'm not a great flyer, but i would definitely have loved to have flown on the special bird. I currently use flight radar to try and get over my fear. A great video and 2002 seems so long ago. I was studying in college at the time. I think it's time i rejoined the RAF 😉😎🇬🇧🛩
So true😊
Dropped! Amazing that the landing gear Survived
wow. It took 16 minutes to get from NYC to London!
Remember when absolutely everything wasn't shit?
Thanks for sharing
best travel vlog ever, my 8 years son will enjoy it;;; thanks
Now that's what you call a "speed" bird!
Their inflight entertainment was to read a broadsheet newspaper.
Brilliant video!
Better quality video than iPhone 55
Oh back when I was younger…
I’m not even particularly patriotic but it makes me proud to be British. What an incredible aircraft. I wish we pursued our aviation industry as vehemently as the French.
My father in law flew many times from London to New York on Concord, corporate, he was so blasé about it, like 'yea, it was ok'. I guess in the 80's it was a thing, nostalgia, informs us how incredible this was.
Imagine eating caviar and drinking champagne at 2 thousand miles per hour 😂
It was great especially for an average guy who got lucky to fly it
When BA really was the world's favourite airline...
b4 europe fell off
I miss the old aviation 😢
Surprisingly, annoyingly loud in the cabin. EW
The sound of that take off was bloody brilliant.
Dream machine.
Concorde... El único avión que te deja en el hotel! 🤣🤣🤣
When I used to drive a London taxi, Concord used to set off all the alarms on the cabs. Waiting in the feeder park with our fingers in our ears. What a noise it made, at 19.00 each evening.
What an incredible journey 😮
You can have feminism, DEI and transgender rights OR you can have a meritocracy with supersonic commercial aircraft. You can't have both. Choose wisely Western Man.
thanks so much for uploading. i finally got to share the concorde experience.
I sat in a ck ckede once when it was only on the ground. We took a tour of the BA hangar at Hatton Cross when I was a kid with a party of summer school kids and I sat in Joan Collins' fave seat (maybe in aisle/seat 7 perhaps). I also won a small gift set for guessing the toilet cost £40k to fit. Amazing plane.
Very fast takeoff 😮
3:47 that's not fog close to the ground, that's fog created by the rapid pressure (and therefore temperature) drop above the wing as the plane tilts upwards! I've only been on Concorde in a museum, sadly.
I think it is truly awful that we haven't got these aeroplanes anymore.
what a noisy plane
Thanks for the vid! Fascinating!
WHAT? No USB charging ports in the seats? They have been around since 1996, amateurs! I would not have flown with them. :D
Reading newspapers...what a time to be alive
Whos watching this in 2024
It's crazy there weren't more disasters at takeoff. There's no aborting just a few seconds after full throttle.
Actually there would have been zero disasters if Concorde used a seperate runway then the commercial jets
You’ve done an incredible job, Thank you 🙏👍
Amazing! Thank you! Wish I could have flown on Concorde.
