Hear a storied piano and violin from Nazi-era Germany brought to life at the North Carolina Museum of Art. The instruments, a 1792 Zwerger violin and 1905 Blüthner piano, belonged to Natascha and Grete Wilczynski, Jewish sisters who were promising musicians in Munich in the early 1900s. With the rise of Nazi rule, the sisters-and their instruments-were separated by tragedy. Nearly a century lat...

Exellent and insightful presentation. The footnote on spreading mummification practices - it’s actually did spread into Visantium and later on to orthodox Christianity - they mummified the saints upon the death to preserve them to ether it’s.

I would love to read comics produced by Native Americans....I don't trust the big two publishers to EVER do it right. They never have before.
I so enjoyed hearing her explain the meanings of the objects on her pottery. Educational and enjoyable. Beautiful pottery!
I appreciated the explanations and enjoyed the exhibit more on my second visit. Why? Because the art of so different than my preconceived ideas were. I visited the Native American Art Museum in Denver, Colorado many years ago so that experience was what I expected this exhibit to resemble. However, this exhibit is different and expanded my appreciation of the various materials used by the artists. A great exhibit.
When I was growing up I believed things hollywood showed me. Believe what I was told about Egypt. Then I grew up and started to visit the library more and read up Egypt. Found out it’s not even called that. It’s called Kemet and I fully understand everything about that place now. Thanks. But no thanks.
Egypt was called Kemet , just as Iran was called Persia, Scotland was called Caledonia, etc . That means nothing. Modern day Egyptians are descendants of ancient Egyptians. This is a fact .
Happy to see these collections, thanks for sharing!
Mike! Love seeing you and your current work. You’re so smart and I love what you’re doing ❤, Emilia
My creative decision with the demo painting would be just leave that one shape but have a yellow background. That is the way I pictured it finished. Although I know the artist would pleasantly surprise me. Great work.
Love it! Gonna try your techniques out and see what I can learn/apply from them
Very cool to see you in action ❤❤❤
Thank you, learned a lot about your process.
Absolute legend. Thanks for the great interview!
We are all living in the immense yellow shadow of GEARY

No you don't! Quit lying to yourself!
You wish!
Cool creative artist..
Like the paintings, the modulating sounds just sound like NOISE.
Hell yeah
Your presentation skills are great. Thank you and the team. :)

The head wrapping styles r always evolving and changing. There r some classics that never go out of style, but it's always kept fresh w new trends n I see all of this in Shemora's head wrapping display. Can't wait to see what she does next.

These are all scams
Someone will win, so how is it a scam? It is to raise funds for the museum.
All, what does that mean?
@@douglasgillan6499 because they're telling people that anyone can win, when they know that's a lie. Do you not know what the word scam or fraud means?
One of the family members will win it

I like this pitched down version. They sound better than ever as older guys :)
It was a disco biscuit PR. The original record was my whole life ❤ love this.
After I purchased Texas Piano Man after one of his concerts, and I heard this song... I was speechless. Just mind-blowingly good. Great lyrics, great instrumentation and very emotional and heartfelt. I highly recommend that album and highly recommend seeing him live.
She was a beautiful, intelligent woman. She and her husband were true pioneers.

she is the charmer of snakes...her voice is so boring
How rude. She has a doctorate and is invited to talk at numerous universities and internet channels where you will never be.
super cool sound! will follow the band on socials
It's great to see the whole process from start to finish. Thank you!
58:00 I remember that parade and regular Egyptians are okay with displaying mummies but some religious leaders called it desecration (but) even still they know its a large part of their culture/economy. Ancient and modern Egyptian society is based off tourism ❤😆🥾🧳✈️🚢🚙⛵🚢🚣🚣♀️🚣♂️🚤🛥️🛳️🛶⛴️
