A bit confusing and quite fast pacing. Took about half an hour to figure out how to save gradient fills.

Probably one of the most important tools in Designer and very nicely done at that. Would be even better to borrow some ideas from the Astute guys to push it even further, to extend the line etc.

Great feature! Now we only need live vector filters/effects, blend tool and true vector pattern fills at the very least :)

I am just now jumping ship from Adobe, due in part to their incredible arrogance toward their consumers. I resent being turned into a cash cow by another hegemon like Microsoft. Thank you Affinity for giving us an alternative. I look forward to mastering your software in the days ahead.

Curves drawn with the brush tool do not appear to be expandable, only the most rudimentary plane strokes are expandable. Kinda bummer if that's by design.

Why not introduce a multiple select button ? To make it easy on the top left arrow would be a great space to add it look at other software like linearity curve does it …should make this app easy on the

How do I group ? Why can’t I just click on the layers and see options to adjust the layers ? How do I merge ? It’s all messy the tool section needs serious work

I'm learning Affinity after working with Adobe Illustrator for decades. I love it but one thing I can't find at the moment is how to change perspective or how to skew an object or layer. Does anyone know how to do this?

I'm trying to do this but with filling in the shapes from shape tool but I can't get it to work...I add a bunch of gear icons ⚙️ on screen from shapes tool and then when I try to fill them in with the bucket tool it fills on the same layer as the linart/curves not a sesperate layer. How do I fix this? I wish there was an entire video dedicated to show all the existinf ways you can color in an object in affinity designer. I also wanna know what happens if you have vector line art but the color you fill in shapes with are painted with pixel persona will it then look weird when you ENLARGEN it ? Etc etc.

I'm incredibly impressed! Having used a range of products like Corel Photo-Paint, Draw, and Graphics Suite, as well as Krita, Inkscape, GIMP, and Adobe over the years, I have to admit that Affinity has astounded me in just a short video. Its intuitive interface and well-integrated tools have made it the standout program for me. After years of navigating multiple software packages to achieve my desired results, Affinity's streamlined approach has made it possible to accomplish everything I need with just three programs. It's truly remarkable.

For some reason I cannot edit the grid. I can enable the grid but I cannot set the dimensions of each grid square

I have bought the infinity stuie years ago on sale, but never found proper time yet to actually sit down and learn the software just yet. now that you guys have been uploading again recently. It's making me wanaa comeback and learn these software again in the near future. :)

Can you also do a tutorial for Ipad please? I feel like it would be simpler if in each video the tutorials also showed how to get the same results on different devices otherwise what's the point of having the application on other devices if users cant follow the same tutorials.

How could one not love Affinity?

Is there not a standard fill tool that actually… you know… works? If I make a space with several different strokes then that space should be fillable… to not have something do ridiculously basic is astounding (unless there is such a tool and I haven’t found it).

I love you made DWG import possible but did I get the layers and when can I export?

I am really keen on Affinity Designer to make it possible for me to offset a line with an exact distance so I can make precise drawings.. how is this done? Or is it comming?

Hello can you make a video telling us how to export a visual identity logo pack for a client. I tried but cant understand how to chance the resolution of the jpg or png for impesion or web.

It would be nice if that feature from the desktop app was nicely replicated to the iPad app. It would come in handy to be able to save different stroke pressure profiles for my project and template files.
