Good list. Diet food tier list will look different for everyone depending on their macros, meal frequency, and calorie budget. My maintenance and bulking diet will look like someone else's cutting diet. Anyway, S Tier cutting foods for me (~1500 cal cuts): Blackberries, sugar-free Jello, low-calorie ice cream, 90% lean ground beef, bison steaks, low-calorie bread products, low/no fat cheese, low-fat french fries, Fairlife milk, tomatoes, salad greens, low calorie salad dressings, hot sauces and spices, cooking oil spray.

I always wonder about these guys who are injured frequently and feel injuries are normal. I suppose if you are sacrificing yourself for a sport that just may be a price you have to pay, but if you train for health and fitness what is the point? I expect you suffer for this when you get older too. I learn from the insights, but personally i prefer more of a physical culture mindset. To each his own.

I don’t agree with this at all. It makes no sense. If you start at 200lbs and curling 100lbs, if you diet down to 160lbs and you still curl 100lbs how did you lose muscle? Are you saying that in that 4-6 month time span you kept growing neurological strength despite a massive amount of tissue loss? If that were actually true, then you’d be able to diet in a way that would make you the world’s strongest 130lbs person. It does not make sense. Also, you don't add weight to a lift every session but it still promotes growth. You can retake a weight at least 3 times at the same reps before it stops giving you any growth. Even if you're bulking. So using your logic, if you stay curling 100lbs, you could theoretically go back and forth between losing muscle mass and gaining it just by curling the same weight for the same reps. Again, it just does not make sense.

  • @fluorophoremusic3679

The homeless comment hit home for me--I used to run every single day up and down mainstreet downtown Memphis...I'd see the same homeless dudes for over a year eating out of trash bins and absolutely ripped. Not just crackhead lean...I mean full, rounded deltoids...massive blocks for abs...perfectly attached biceps with huge veins. One time, I legitimately stopped running just to ask this dude eating trash if he works out and he legit just started speaking gibberish to me and dancing in a circle, totally out of his mind. Don't underestimate genetic variability. People regularly discount outliers as if everyone they meet is supposed to reside right on the mean...it doesn't work that way. The natty or not stuff is a prime example of this. Some people are lying and they are on stuff--a significant portion are, in fact. But, don't confuse uncommon with impossible. The populus is a huge number...you have to keep in mind that you come in contact with a huge number of diverse people every single day from all areas of the world (particularly, living in a major city in the US), thus you'll likely encounter more than a few outliers in all different aspects throughout your day to day life. It's erroneous to discount every major standout as a liar.

Yep. Pascal is right. It really depends on what part of the United States you are from. East Coast New Yorkers are very direct. Southerners, especially Texans, can be direct. West Coast or Midwest are generally more polite or friendly and thus more likely to blow smoke as we call it to be nice. That being said the Revive Stronger channel is one of the best bodybuilding channels on CZcams. When I cut back my fitness channels to focus more on finance, I kept Revive Stronger because of the quality of the content and the no BS approach to interviews and lifting information.
