I think JESUS woulda dressed punk rock man, . . , I know HE'D loved Joan Jett's song,,, I don't givea damn abouta bad reputation, Your livin in the past it's a new generation!!! HE didn't care what the sadducees and pharisees thought about HIM hangin out with sinners, JESUS loved hangin with people who are real,,,because HE knows ALL are sinners and fall short, but GOD wants people who are real,, honest and truthful,,, they dont go around trying to get specks outta others eyes, while they themselves have a LOG in their eye,,,, HE even called em a brood of vipers, self-centered, arrogant self righteous (buttheads)...but HE can do that, because HE'S GOD,,,we're not!!!
Thank you!
It is hard to adequately care for God's creation in an empire that is hellbent on destroying it in the name of the economy. Animals are profit. Trees are profit. Land is profit. We trade creation for coins. That which is truly sacred is not seen as sacred. That which is not sacred (Caesar's coins) is seen as sacred. The merchants and Babylon are all tied up together. This is why, I think, the angels rejoice when they all fall. We are indeed aliens and strangers walking around in this groaning creation. God, help us followers to come out of this fast food Babylon!
I was baptized into Christ back when I was in my early 20s (I am 52 now). I walked away from the faith due to the smallness of God I saw all around me (Well, it was one of the reasons.). It was all about human beings all the time. Something about this didn't seem right to me. What about nonhuman animals? Does God not care for them? What about the planet? I mean, either the good news includes ALL OF IT or it is not good news. Who wants to worship and follow a god that is all about factory farms and animal cruelty? I sure as hell don't, AND WON'T!! That makes no sense at all to me. That is, if God actually is love all the time. What Greg is pointing at here actually does make sense, and I am hearing it at a time when I am revisiting this thing called Christianity to see if there is another way of seeing it, a more holistic way, a way that actually does make sense, a way that includes ALL.
The volume is low on this YT video so even Airplay to Sonos for a few friends, cant get volume very loud over fans and appliances/ other background noises. Thx
When I think of Gods creativity one of the crazy thing that always comes to my mons is the tabernacle and temple designs- the colors and materials how insanely gorgeous it was- man he has good taste.
Alway good to hear what the end game is- try to envision it- ruling here on earth. Purification process used to scare me too - to burn of the dross- the crapola weve been carrying around from birth- the part that just can't be w God. I can't imagine existing w other humans and all of us not sinning? Wah? Anyway-good to ponder. beautiful job. Thank you.
Thank God for the word given today!🙌🙌
Out of his creative imagination, we have been born 💌
Our responsibility is learning to respond to His ability we have in Him.
Amen! Let us reflect God's nature!
God doesn't meddle, he convicts ❤
A simplification of this book imo would be to say, in the book of R :)
In the continuing opening of our eyes, we begin to see and know what has been already deposited IN us when we were apprehended!
Thank you for the message...Thy kingdom come; thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. A song by John Waller....Our God Reigns Here
Pray, Strive to think and speak only truth, What story do you live in? Question the “normal” of the world.
The period is the least of these, or at least the servant leader. I work with a people who tend not to write periods in their language and man do I miss them.
"The period is the servant leader"😆 Genius!
I thought I was only one who left all my apps open! ❤😂❤😊
It's a pandemic.
I should've said: "It's an app-ocalypse."
7:20 why even mention this point? I would never think this statement would means what he says. I ask my wife “do you know what time the sun rises in the morning?” Not, “what time does the earth spin enough for the sun to show?” 🥸
Jesus seemed to disregard, for the most part, human government. He saw them as having their place in this fallen world, but it was VERY miniscule (Hey, Caesar, you can have your stupid coins!). He made it clear that he serves God ONLY, and him ONLY does he serve. He serves the one that rules in the true kingdom, not the one built by men. He totally trusted the kingdom of God way, even to the point of death. Honestly, it is really hard for me to imagine Jesus "rocking the vote". To vote for these people is to vote for the ways of violence. When Babylon falls, angels rejoice. There is a very good reason for this. Jesus lived, breathed, and walked around in the "already, but not yet" kingdom. He lived from this place inwardly and through his actions outwardly showed the truth of it. After all, what a man is inwardly can be seen in what they do. The things he was walking around doing looked nothing like the kingdom built by men.
I came for the sermon on revelation but I just gotta say ..wow what a worship set. Thanks for this. Praise God 😂❤🔥
Yes, the worship music truly lifted me up and worked powerfully together with Greg's talk.
Hello! Sara from Stillwater.
"slain little lambs stay" dead. You slay me! Lmao
It really feels like we’re at the end of it right? I’m sure every generation has felt that. It seems like if we don’t beat our swords into plowshares, we’re gonna be destroyed by them. Come lord Jesus, come
Greg, I appreciate how you addressed how this relationship with the Trinity confronts any justification of violence, hate, exclusiveness, and decisiveness. I grew up believing penal substitution atonement. My question is, how is this different from PSA? And what type of atonement is this, how do s it different?
Hi Glenn, Here Greg is talking about the "Christus Victor" view of atonement. You can read his thoughts on the atonement and the Christus Victor view under this topic search at Greg's website: reknew.org/?sfid=15223&_sft_topic=christus-victor-view-of-atonement Hope that helps!
Greg, filled with the Spirit, gave one of the best sermons I've ever heard!
Greetings from Dieppe, New Brunswick, Canada 💙
Even of it was literal, the feeling of being in God's presence would be overwhelmingly fulfilling. Plus, until we are there, and are free of these limited -everything- we may feel very fifferently then; so don't need to worry about it until then. Doesnt affect me now. Besides, He would make it okay. Buuut....there are areas we all struggle with, thinking of eternity...
Probaly There Was Different Races Before They Ate From The Tree. But If You Are God You Knew Man Would Sin. So That Makes You Part of The Problem.
Adam & Eve Were Not The First People! Somebody is Lying.😀.
Very well-explained. Loved this teaching.
Is there any way that closed captions can be turned on now? I'm having a hard time hearing Greg's ending meditation over the music (even at full volume on YT, my laptop, & my extra speakers!). :(
Hi Lila, The closed captions are created automatically by CZcams, and sometimes they go up in a few days, but it can also take a week or longer for them to appear. Sorry, it's a bummer we ca't speed it up!
Belated Happy Birthday dear Greg! We appreciate you! ❤️
I feel like a lifetime of spiritual journeying came together with this sermon. 🙏🏼♥️ We are so grateful for this message!!! There was a household of “AMEN” & “PREACH GREG!!!!” Over here 🥰🙏🏼🙌🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
This is an excellent video. Your explanation of Romans 9 was brilliant as well Gods desire for every human being ever created.
You don't ever see Jesus referencing OT passages about a violent god to justify violence. What you see is him over and over again correcting people when they have this image of God! As a matter of fact, he takes the violent bit out of the Isaiah passage He quotes in Luke 4. Look it up for yourself. This is HUGE proof to show what is going on here. Do you not think he did that on purpose? Jesus is the exact representation of God. If you see Jesus, you see God. It is all over the place in the New Testament. So, my question, why is it that folks who cling to this image of a violent god think they know a better way to approach these Scriptures than Jesus?
Dan, I loved what you were saying about the sustainability of worshipping God, likening it to sugar addiction. I hope I understood it the way you meant it. I took it to mean this: there's a movement in churches that worship the "experience" of the emotional highs, the feelings of awe and gratitude, and trying to feel those at every church service at least. And while those feelings are amazing and often valid, they're not sustainable. To have a relationship with God -- and with anyone -- we need to sit through the dull times, the unmemorable moments, the mundane things we already know. And just to be present. I liken the emotional highs, intellectual epiphanies, and milestone decisions to dessert. They're wonderful -- but only occasionally. Too much becomes a sugar addiction. Most of what we eat we don't even remember, but it was nourishing at the time. Most of the time I've spent with my husband, children, friends, etc., I can't even remember, but it was nourishing to the relationship at the time because we were together. I can't remember the vast majority of the time I've spent reading the Bible, praying, worshiping, etc., but they're time with the Lord that builds that relationship.
Yes, Lila, really well said.
No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us.
What do you have to offer, present yourself!!!
It's a continuing unfolding revelation.
The relevance of what was going on within the throne room was because of WHO was there!
A standing ovation
Good to see Greg up and energetic!
A spirit of wisdom and the revelation of true knowledge of the Living Christ!
I'm so bummed that I missed the chat for this one! CZcams didn't even give me the notification until it was over. :( Emily, I didn't know that you were having health problems, so I'm praying for you now. Great message!
Thanks Lila-and really appreciate the prayers!
What is this book you all are talking about? I'm very intrigued!

I resonated deeply with this sermon. I love ants. Ants are my life.
I voted when I made the decision to start calling Jesus Lord. I refuse to vote for any version of Caesar. How can I get in bed with Babylon? All politicians are within a framework of violence, power, materialism and greed. This is what Babylon is. This is how Babylon operates. Let's face it... If Americans followed Jesus, the economy would tank. Why? Because it is built on materialism and greed, buying lots of unnecessary things, not to mention all the destruction that is done in the name of it, all the groaning of creation it causes. If every American followed Jesus no health insurance would be necessary. Why? Loving your neighbor as yourself would be taken seriously. Jesus is Lord. Period. Everything else is nonsense, including all the ways of the kingdoms of the world. May the day come soon when merchants weep and angels rejoice.
Excellent, excellent teaching about the unseen spiritual realm and the brevity of life and troubles here on earth. Thank you so much Emily!
Thank you! Gotta fix our eyes on the unseen :)
Will you please pray for me my family , "the best ideas are worthless, if they don't bring about change in my everyday life." I battle addiction and self centeredness that seem to overcome my willingness to obey. Pray for out of God's abundant riches He would strengthen me, in my inner person. Holy spirit guide me. Thank you and All praise and honor to Him who sits on the heavenly throne.
