Great demo! How would you compare this to the two rock studio signature? Would you be happy with just the SSS as your main amp or is it too much of the “clean lead tones” thing? Do their sounds overlap much? I’m thinking of purchasing either.
I'd compare this to more of the Two Rock Custom Reverb for cleans - but the second channel on this is pretty killer! If you're leaning more towards TR and want a two channel amp, check out the Bloomfield Drive. I ended up buying that and love it! But this amp is pure bliss too!
I haven’t heard the classic reverb comparison from anybody else but that’s really good to know. I’m really looking for something that’s primarily a clean platform, I don’t think I’d use the second channel much on any 2 channel amp.
Great review, man. Subbed.
Thanks so much!!
Mark, another suggestion for the Lightning round............Springsteen or Melloncamp. For the right person of course.
@@BradRocker good one!
Does this amp have the rectifier preamp tubes?
I saw on another comment this is the 22 watt amp so that would mean this amp does not have the rectifier tubes.
Me gusta más la fender
@@user-ew4du4gi6z agreed!
Sweet!!!
Way ta rip that Grass !! Killer Guitar man.
@@BradRocker thanks brother!!
What speaker is this ran through?
@@rp9187 it was my Two Rock 1x12 cab. It has a proprietary speaker in it.
Excellent!!
@@lrmars thanks so much!
I already have different overdrive pedals, a clone of the king of tone, a gladio, a protein, the duellist, and the Jan Ray (in this order) But where do you think I should place the Jan Ray ? I don’t think the last one is the best …
Always place your highest gain pedals first in your signal chain. that enables you to boost those with the lighter gain pedals without oversaturating the signal. It's magic when it hits right!
2 channel amps are an Abomination - it's like changing clothes in the middle of something ?? - I'm looking for a Single channel amp where you can roll the volume down and clean up the sound and then roll up for breakup / lead - a tone stack on off is cool but the tone changes - - If Two rock mod and perfect a bloomfield Drive single channel amp I'll but it without even trying it
Mike let me throw that bass over my shoulder one night after a gig and I was so jealous at the weight.... It played awesome too. Thanks for the rundown!
@@michaelhoward3202 they are the best!! You’re welcome!

@@mmkelectrics awesome pedal my friend!!
Wow a very flexible Fuzz/Overdrive. Nice work with this one Mark
@@BradRocker thanks bud! Yeah it’s got a very cool vibe.
@@markhopkinsmusic Yeah, I like how it goes from a darker fuzz to a brighter snapper cutting one.
I love mine, it's an awesome pedal. Great addition to any FUZZ collection. Thanks for sharing Mark, great to see MMK Electrics getting some well deserved PR. Great company, wonderful people!
@@Wadey1960CS 🤘🤘
Do you still have this guitar? If so, how do you feel about it?
@@rockeye still have it. It’s my #1 with my 335 right behind it. It’s an amazing instrument.
@@markhopkinsmusic How would you describe the pickups? I’m thinking about pulling the trigger on a WW10 61’. Any swaying description is welcome 🙏 😇.
@@rockeye truly vintage and throaty. All my friends that know pickups tell me how great they sound and I agree.
Awesome video!
@@prtlndtheband thanks so much for watching, I’m glad you dug it!
This is a great demo that accurately represents what I hear from mine -- do you still have yours?
@@imgonnagetbanned I actually sold that a little while back. Not because it’s not a great amp, I just really wanted a Two Rock.
Nice, smoky in-between position on that guitar. Kind of pickups are those?
@@CraigFlowersMusic thanks man! Those are the Tone Specific Bloom Buckers. They are amazing!
Just received this pedal and it is great! But I had a problem at first. I was trying the pedal through my board and several other pedals, without any noise coming from the UAFX Orion. My power supply is a t-rex fuel tank junior.. But after i didn't had any sound coming from the UAFX I switched the power supply with a Palmer Pwt 08, and first then the pedal worked.. So I'm confused and curious? Does the t-rex not have enough power to handle the UAFX, or what could be the problem?
@@theSonicboom100 power supplies make a big difference. I’d check how many miliamps the power supply can handle because modern pedals tend to pull more. I love the Truetone One Spot power supplies. I have the 7 port one and it’s very powerful.
@@markhopkinsmusic thanks for the answer. But yeah, i don't think it is the pedal that doesn't work but rather not enough power from my power supply to run it.
What would life be like without fuzz? Fuckin boring that's what 🤣🤣
@@therangersinger amen. 🙏🏻
Sounds great! WHAT fuzz are you using- that sounds spectacular! Thank you.
@@e.r.559am7 Thanks! that is the OCE Pedals “Wrench”. One of my faves!
@@markhopkinsmusic Hey man thanks for the quick response and the content. Really dig your stuff with the Bartel amps. I'm debating between a TR Burnside and a Sugarland. You think a Burnside with a 1x15 would be overkill? :). Is there a such thing as overkill lol.
@@e.r.559am7 Thanks so much! The Burnside is SUPER loud so I might lean more on the Sugarland if you want more controllable tone. Or get yourself a good attenuator and that could be a non issue. I think a 15" speaker would be dope!
This definitely does the “horn” thing really well. At times it sounds like an Octafuzz a bit.
@@erikhartley2494 totally!
Thank you for a great video! Which would you prefer for a home studio (no stage), a "Two Rock Classic Reverb Signature 50 Head" or Two Rock Studio Signature 35 Head"?? Thank You Very Much!!!
@@Sergo50011 I’d get the Studio Sig because a lower wattage amp makes better sense and it’s a glorious amp!
Thank You!!! I have now ordered a "Two Rock Studio Signature 35 Head"! Thank You Very Much!!! Best Regards from Germany.
@@Sergo50011 Awesome!!!
Frampton does Talk Box, but Aerosmith Joe Perry (Sweet Emotion) & Joe Walsh (Rocky Mountain Way) are definitely my favorite Talk Box songs that are not Frampton.

@@RobertKeeleyTV thanks so much!
How does it compare to your two rock? I have a traditional clean and am trying to decide between the amp nation or the silver sterling signature
@@christianwilliamsofficial this was only on loan to me. I actually ended up getting a Bloomfield Drive a few months after shooting this. This amp def had mojo and was probably my fave of the three I played and demo’d.
@@markhopkinsmusicHi, do you mean the SSS was your fav? I was really considering the wonderland overdrive, but as it’s very versatile it gives me a little bit of great with all, but majestic with nothing (even though I know this amps are AMAZING!)
Fender
You know this is an apples to oranges comparison. The Duelist chews this bland boring gladio away.
@@leehenderson8132 yup, bunch of folks asked for it so I gave the people what they wanted haha
Great playing and demo. Thanks. I am getting one based in your playing....🎉
@@jaquesels581 I love walrus! Good people making cool stuff!
Hi there man, I'm very curious about the neck, what's the difference between AM Pro II and the Suhr in terms of neck playing, what neck is more comfortable and faster? Thanks!
@@FlorinCirciu I sold the Suhrs I had a few years back but I can say that you won’t find a nicer feeling neck than the Suhr stuff. I think that’s gonna be a fast instrument because of the modern radius etc… awesome guitars! The only reason I sold them was to buy my CS Strat which was a bucketlist instrument.
Hi to Rob, love your playing and also love Dopapod. I've told you I have been a full time jazzer for 50 years love your work and Dopapod. Old man jazzer says keep up the great work.

I’ve owned both and both are great! That being said the Boss has a mojo and vibe the Flint just can’t get. Also the flint sounds like it was designed for modern sounds while the Boss has all the artifacts and glitchiness of vintage sounds
@@billtice5057 I would totally agree with that! Thanks for watching the vid and saying hi Bill!

It's beautiful guitar but that headstock is looks like like it's pulled from a 30s acoustic.
