Don’t be fooled by the beautiful scenery. This is the good way of driving everywhere in South Italy. It is even scarier and more dangerous and narrower in Naples, indeed. With similar roads sidehill and a looooot more threats. This is the only way of driving to trade transportation with relaxation. Do it differently and you cannot hold such a job for 3 mere days.

Travel tip. Took the regular"city" bus rather than the tour bus. Same sights- a fraction of the cost.

This is a very hard drive if your in a big car or bus. My father is a very good driver and when we got our rental car(from one of my grandfathers friends), he gave us a minibus. We asked if he had anything else and he said no. Along the whole ride we must've dented the minibus at least 8 times.

I say this to you foreigners, in Campania especially in Naples who drives knows how to do it well. If you know how to drive in Naples you can do it all over the world. Macchine parcheggiate in carreggiata....ma i vigili?che ignoranza
Frank Branco in costiera amalfitana non ci sono parcheggi perché non c’è spazio, lei parcheggerebbe la sua auto a chilometri di distanza dalla sua abitazione per poi farsela a piedi? O si adatterebbe al contesto? Le auto parcheggiate malamente dai turisti vengono rimosse a decine dai vigili, quelle dei residenti no altrimenti dovrebbero trasferirsi perché diventerebbe invivibile
