Norwegian Dawn. Rome to Barcelona 26th April. This was the first sailing after being in dry docks for 2 weeks. I enjoyed sailing on this elegant ship and had a great time!

NCL Jade obscured ocean view room 8550. This room was in a great area just around the corner from the lift and a short walk to O’Sheehans, which is on the same deck. Celebrity Infinity Ocean View Room 2001. Sept 2023 Quick tour!

I did a quick room tour on embarkation day 26/08/23. Sorry it was a bit rushed as the cabin attendant was outside. This was Athens to Venice on the celebrity infinity cruise ship. The room number is 2001 towards the front of the ship. It is a cabin at the end of the corridor so only has another cabin to one side. It is an ocean view room. There was no noise from above or below.

Dorian Inn Hotel and it’s lovely pool and 360 views. It is a very clean hotel. The staff are lovely and helpful. Its in a great area. More commercial. Lots of big brand named stores. A few minutes walk to little kooks. A 15 minute walk to the acropolis and the sights to see! Some lovely bars and restaurants nearby. Within easy walking distance to the other areas in Athens. Modern studio in the sunset bay club complex in Tenerife. It has a huge sun facing balcony from 9.00 am until about 17.00 pm in May. Very spacious. All mod cons. Next to the big pool and McGuires bar and others. See my trip advisor review. This is my first ever video so I have a lot to learn and advance on but hope it gives you an over view of the studio.

Nice hotel the Bristol i stayed there in 2014 and 2015 blimey it all went on behind the bins at the Bristol at 3am in the morning I can tell you. All been refurbished now and its not a four star hotel its a 4*sup they got rid of the seedier part of the exterior a few years.
Haha I love this! It’s lovely and groups are still allowed there too. Maybe all happens behind closed doors hehe
I certainly would not get in line for a pool seat how much did you pay?
@@mick-km4oc there is another pool for the delux rooms in the roof top. There were loungers but people were queuing for the front line ones. I paid £300 for 5 nights half board then €75 for the upgrade to pool view. It was a lot more expensive nearer the date I think it’s due to booking early. The city view ones are fine as you have no one else looking into your balcony.

Thanks for the video! We are booked for next month and the reviews are not great. Did you have any issues with cleanliness/bad odors, plumbing, or illness onboard?
@@THawk-k5h we enjoyed it. It was really clean. No bad odours or issue with plumbing. The water did not work in our cabin once but this was rectified immediately after ringing guest services. I got a bad cough( not covid related) but put it down to the changes in the weather during our sail as it was warm and sunny in some ports then cold in others. It wasn’t until we left the ship that someone posted on our Facebook cruise group that they had had a cough and a few others said the same. However the personal hygiene by some people was non existent. I experienced some not washing hands after using the bathroom and some people ignoring the washy washy instructions. All in all our group of four enjoyed it. Hope this helps. 😀

Hi Andrea - enjoyed the vlog of this hotel , informative, well produced and edited - thank you 👍🏻☀️ We have been to Beni many times and have booked to stay at The Bristol for 3 weeks next February . Can you tell me why you upgraded your room , what was extra etc as we have a superior city view room booked and being there 21 nights £15 a night could work out expensive. Did you enjoy the food ? And ….. For my wife !…… did you get Cava at breakfast 😂 🍾 Many thanks again Regards x

@@HowardB54 hi Howard I’m sorry I did not see the latter part of your message. In answer to your questions I wouldn’t upgrade again as the pool view rooms have nothing extra and the balcony’s are overlooked by the the ones at the side. If I’d have known where the city view rooms were I’d have defo stuck with the city view. The food was great we were half board and there was plenty to choose from. No cava at breakfast tho and I also love cava 🥂.🤣. You can buy wine for the table but only for dinner. Enjoy!

Hi there thanks for the feedback. I’ve realised it’s when I take photos or videos in portrait mode. I’ve still got a lot to learn and workout with editing but hopeful will improve with each one. Got a few more cruises booked so watch this space 😊

To me it’s like the city part where all the big stores are. The hotel isn’t luxury but clean and modern. For the price we paid it was a bargain
Thanks for posting. We are scheduled to sail on the Dawn next year and have seen a lot of bad reviews. At least the room looks a little better now, although nothing really drastic seems to have changed.
The public areas are in good shape for the ships age. New paint, carpets and tweaks here and there. Il post another video of some of the ship and the things we enjoyed.

Hello! Thank you very much for posting this. Will be on that vessel next summer and it is good to know that the ship has been refurbished. However, to be honest, those changes are not evident to me (been on the sister ship Star before). As far as I can see they have kept the same furniture, the same lamps, the same sockets (still not USBs in sight) and so on. Is there any chance while onboard you could dig a bit deeper into what has really changed? Maybe changes are more evident in public areas? Would appreciate it. Thank you in advance! 😊
Yes of course there’s new carpets painting touch ups. Changes to the atrium, restaurant, java cafe and star link has been installed

Overall how would you rate the stay at the hotel and the city itself? I’m going there soon
The hotel was nice, Clean and modern. Not luxury but we got a really good deal on it. Tip: Ask for a refurbed room as at the time we stayed our friends room wasn’t as nice and she got upgraded to one. At the right price we would stay again. I love Athens. So many different areas in walking distance. Plenty to see and do. Bars and restaurants are plenty for any budget.
Thank you so much, I will surely ask them for upgrade if the room isn’t as great and I can see everyone talking about walking so looking forward to it.
