I know this isn’t a new post, but thank you for sharing this wonderful hymn. It has always been one of my favorites, going back to my childhood before I understood Easter. I am now 33 and have been accepted to Seminary. Happy Easter, CHRIST IS RISEN!

Great sermon! Leah has always been one of my favorite Bible characters, but the connection you made from Jacob’s deception to Laban’s deception was so interesting. And the teaching on “cosmic disappointment” was fantastic… the one true love you really want or need is Jesus!
