I'm coming to the conclusion more and more that the S-1 is Rolands new accidentally created milestone and an aira trojan horse: Showing a very characteristic, organic sound and hiding its deep sounddesign in an ultra portable format. Its really not fitting to the rest of the aira line-up - in a good way.

Cool! It would be interesting to see how you make a track from scratch :)

Hey Stefan, I find your music so inspiring. I bought an Roland S-1 and after searching on CZcams for people who make music using the S-1, I found my way to you. I have also acquired a used Digitakt and I've been having so much fun with those two pieces of gear. I am very early in my journey and learning music, I hope this isn't a stupid question... what would a beat you made on the Digitakt like this be called? I want to be able to find tutorials to make similar beats, but I'm not sure what to search for. Thank you for making beautiful music.
