I never pretend to be sick when I’m not, but I have had jealous coworkers lie about me to management to try to get me fired. I think seeing my social life on social media was triggering to people who low key have no friends.🙄 That’s how I learned the hard way not to add coworkers on social media or tell them my business. It’s sad because I used to want to be friends with everyone, but I now understand that not every friendship is real.😭

I had a coworker who said she pretended to be sick while on vacation and called off days in a row, but I never said a word about it to anyone at work, let alone to management. Coworkers are supposed to be a team, not trying to get people fired. I’m so sorry this happened to you!
