Larry I lost my oldest son when he was killed by a hit and run driver that stopped just long enough to get my sons bike out from under his car, then continued on to live his life, when I finally went back to work, a co worker came to offer her condolences, and said she knew exactly how I felt as she had lost a daughter and three grandchildren in a house fire on a Christmas Day a few years ago. I’m truly amazed at just how many parents have lost a child for various reasons, way more than I imagined, yet in my own family a sister in law lost two daughters, one killed by an 18 wheeler that ran a stop sign and his truck landed on top of her, killing her and her unborn child, a couple of years later she lost another daughter in a fire, and then another sister in law lost her son when he and a friend were driving home late at night with his little boy asleep in the backseat, they went over a hill and at the bottom of the hill was a stalled truck which they ran under. On the other side of the family a son was killed on the job when he and a co worker out repairing electrical lines touched a live wire, they both died, he left a wife and two children. So many parents suffer with the loss of children, and there is no getting over it. I’m so sorry for your loss too Larry. My Mother in law was so distraught over the deaths of her granddaughters and grandson, wondering why it couldn’t have been her since she had already lived a long life, but that’s just not how it works.

It’s so sad that someone has to die for another’s person’s life to be saved. I am sorry for Nicole’s passing. But her family’s worst day was another family’s best day.

wondering if me being in ketosis would be a factor in not being able to give blood. I've done the keto diet / paleo diet. I drink plenty of water and feel great .. haven't gotten sick in over a year. maybe this is a stupid question. .. just thought of that now lmao
