Was the replacement a OEM 2016 bumper?
Great tutorial uncs, thank you!!
What kind of steering wheel u got?
Your Penzoil gear oil already had the limited slip additive in it. But I guess you have plenty in there now. I hope not too much.
Where to buy in Ukraine?
What are the rca voltage out?
I'm bout to look at it now. Mine keep cutting off. 2005 1500 4.7
I've got a 2014 P85, and this doesn't work... Your bolt comes out far enough for the end to clear the one half of the bracket. Mine has a different shape on the casting (toward the front of the car) that's way thicker than on yours. And of course it lines up to the bolt so it can't slide out as far. I don't see a purpose for the additional material on mine either, just a thick spot right in front of the bolt. Tesla must have done that to increase sales of bolts :) Very glad it worked for you, and glad to know it's possible at least on some of these without cutting the bolt. I saw this months back, finally got to messing with the link (changed the camber) and thankfully found your video again to see things changed through the years.
This is really a very good video. It's clear, gives lots of tips and shows experience. Appreciate the different camera angles. Thank you!
Really liked this video! This was a huge help! Gonna replace mine on CTS Premium. ~ Ken Mc
I'm curious, what state are you in??? Those nuts didnt look nearly as rusty as mine were. You are either gonna have to cut the nut off with a torch, cutting saw, use a nut splitter, or get creative because they arent coming off with traditional hand tools. Im in Indiana btw.
I’m in Wisconsin but I’m religious about multiple underbody flushes in the winter to wash away the salt. Also when I do regular maintenance like brake pads or tire rotation, I use the opportunity to cover bolts with anti-seize to help prevent road salt from getting on the threads.
@@marenothecarguy8361 Great video!!! I thought you were in the South or somewhere hot and dry with no salt, like Nevada or Arizona. But yeah bolts looked 1000x better than the ones I'm fighting with right now. 😆 Gotta do more winter preventative maintenance for sure.
Where can i buy it?
I hit the link to aliexpress. I don't see any options presented to get the Alcantara covering, looks like it's a plain black leather covering. I see the heated option but how to you specify material?
NM, I think I found it. Had to hit the 'similar items' below and now I see other options.
Awesome!!
Just found your channel. I also have a 2015 Model S85D. I would love to change my steering wheel, the top of the full wheel blocks part of the instrument cluster. Can you share where you bought the yoke wheel? Going to check out your other video's, I saw the rear control arm video, also very good.
I see you found it through my other video.
I just like to thank you for sharing this. I've been riding around for some time now using the manual level... It saved me from going to the dealer 💲💲💲
Glad it helped!
Doing this on my 2013 MS P85 today. Glad you posted this, thanks for the guide.
No problem 👍
I've never found a good launcher
Great job on explaining...I was lost!!.
Hey, great video. Did you have to cut anything to get those pieces at 24:55 to fit?
Nope. No need to cut or trim at all.
Greatly appreciated 👌
Happy to help
What would cause water to be in that area
Yoooo @mareno can you link the mass airflow extension
What's your gas mileage like with this setup? I would be curious to hear what fuel you are using, what type of mileage you get, and how its different between stage 1 and 2.
Can you share the rearview camera link?
I am a 71 year old east coast guy that has never been under a hood for nothing. Besides that I only get social security retirement and cannot afford a mechanic. Man after watching your video I KNOW I can replace the ignition coil and spark plugs. Thank you so very very much man I was getting depressed thinking about how I was going to get my car fixed. GOD bless you for providing this information!!!
Thank you so very much for the video it was well informative and well instructed I appreciate it. Anyway could you please provide me the link I have the same color as your vehicle. Once again thank you for the post!
Very good explanation what model is your model s is that a p90d
Hi, do you have a guide on how to upgrade headlights? Thanks
Do u have am and fm stations
Could you take it apart and clean the connections or need to buy the new one?
Reallly guy
Did you ever find the front splash shield replacement when you did your bumper upgrade?
great video no annoying music in the background no unessary babbling just start to the point
Very well detail thanks got the job done and listen a half hour
Now after installing the cts-v cluster, I am further following your steering wheel removal video. Since cts-v has paddle shifter button behind, wondering you have plans to modify to bigger paddles? I am thinking to remove the paddle button and diy with bigger ones. Thx.
I’ve only found one decent manufacturer of paddle shifters for. I think you are going down the right path of fabricating your own. I’ve been considering it but no real movement yet.
When you changed your steering wheel from original to the v series one. And if your in automatic when you put the car in sports mode, are you in fact able to shift the vehicle through the steering wheel now instead of manually shifting through the parking lever
Correct, the paddle shifters behind the steering wheel do work.
How did you setup the password to be 123456? I just installed mine and it’s requesting a four digit password.
Yours will most likely be one of these: 0000, 1111 or 1234
I tried every number from 0-9 four times and still wasn’t able to login. Is there a way to do a factory reset?
if you Have L then you can put it in L5 because it keeps it in v8 mode if you have M put it in M5 if you have the eight speed or 10 speed do M9 and for the 8 speed it would be L or M 7
Thank you
Hey brother. Thank you so much for this. I just installed it and love it. My back up camera is black and white though. Any tips? Also my android auto font is soooo small. Any ideas how to make it bigger?
Ok so I bought my son a 200,000 mile cts we have been doing a lot of work on it and getting some ideas from you
Thank you! Great video!
Looking good Mane!
What happened to the caddy?
It’s in the garage. In this video you can see it parked. :)
I love the way these cars look. I just wish they had an option to get it with the ls in the two door.
THANK YOU ! I look all over for that internal infernal plug in on my 2008 Ram , you were VERY helpfull ..
Most basic tunes with cause a fuel trim issue. They usually disable the check engine light for this reason
The funny thing is, I never got a check engine light…..go figure.
love the car!
Thanks it worked great
A less capable chassis with less power, with issues and headaches, no warranty and bunch of work, simply getting a V would fix everything, I’m confused
I have a 2011 V2 coupe and seeing this build is nice and different! Work with what you have. I salute his build and videos 💯
@@EGGINFOOLSjust say you're broke! 😂😅

@@marenothecarguy8361 you talkin to me?
@@BIGmil20 I just don’t get how spending years saving for”mods” is different than saving to just get a good car. I’ll be honest, this whole supposed”car culture and express yourself with”your build” stuff” is dumb to me, specifically when applied to performance. Like a”modded” C6 grandsport with 800 HP and lambo doors will NEVER be even a lightly tuned ACTUAL ZO6, because they are simply built different, all that so called”shine” is referred to as generic or rice, depending on application.
