I recently discovered the Gambale tuning, which is an adaptation of the Nashville tuning. It sounds gorgeous. The amount of new voicings available (not achievable with standard tuning) inspired me to write some tunes that I’ll record soon. So che questo video è indirizzato a chitarristi esperto, ma non si capisce bene come accordare la chitarra e se bisogna sostituire alcune corde. Potresti essere più chiaro su quali corde montare (specificando anche la scalatura) e come accordarle ? In questo video,secondo me, non è molto chiaro. Grazie
Ciao Marco, per comodità riporto qui sotto alcune info tratte dal post di Frank Gambale in merito alla scalatura delle corde che utilizza lui. - Da una muta di corde 10-46 utilizziamo la corda del LA, RE, SOL, SI rispettivamente per la 6°, 5°, 4° e 3° corda; - Da una muta 9-42 utilizziamo invece la corda del RE e del SOL rispettivamente per la 2° e la 1° corda. L'accordatura da lui utilizzata è la seguente, partendo dalla corda più grave: ADGCEA Io invece ho provata ad abbassarla di un tono, ottenendo quindi: GCFBbDG

Sì, ammetto che è particolare, è un suono da D.I (quindi diretto, senza emulazione di ampli) con un quintale di riverbero e chorus (vagamente ispirato agli anni 80 😅)

Thank you! The tuning is the following, starting from the sixth or lowest string: ADGCEA. There’s a post written by Frank Gambale himself on his Facebook page that explains the tuning and the suggested string gauge
