I lived in Rijeka a few years back, and was frankly scared of the car traffic. How did you manage to keep your wits enough to even get out? And the tunnels -- eek -- were there alternate routes? OMG, I don't remember a langoşi shop there. It would have made me a lot happier. But the water in Opatija ("oh-pah-tee-uh") has so many colors it is wonderful.

We did notice the traffic once we arrived. But since we got a train from Ogulin into the city, we didn’t notice it too much. It was a little busy leaving the city but we felt like we could avoid the main roads with our bicycles for the majority of the time 😃

as for our rivers, well, beside Una (one and only) and Neretva (coldest river in the world), we have a lot of similar (thank God) rivers which are beautiful, clean and drinkable. If I were you, I would choose to ride from Mostar via Prozor (you've been to Sćit, that is the area of Prozor-Rama), Gornji Vakuf - Bugojno - Donji Vakuf - Jajce - Mrkonjić Grad - Ključ - Bosanski Petrovac - Bihać. The floor area is small for a 3 person tent. You cannot have 2 people + gear inside, there is not enough space for that. This tent has interior dimensions of 152cm x 2.3m. if you take two 64cm wide sleeping pads (like Big Agnes Rapide SL Wide) then you have only 24 cm left in between the pads, not enough for your gear. It is super small for a 3 person tent. Not to mention that there is a significant angle to the sides, which reduces effective floorspace.

Using the double guylines at each end, utilizing a stick to elevate the line before you stake it down gives each end “massive” headroom! (Seemingly vertical wall headroom!) I loved this feature…and love the tent! Sadly, so did a rodent: Which I repaired with 32, 2 sided Tenacious Tape patches! “Bombproof, but not chipmunk proof!!”
