So, what will you learn in this new Sketchup Tutorial for 3d modeling in SketchUp?
In this tutorial you will learn how to design and model a modern house in sketchup without extensions i.e. without using any extenstion, that can be exported to 3ds max/ lumion for rendering opt to lumion for rendering. First we will export a 2d autocad drawing/ plan file to sketchup and the start modeling on it. We're goint to take it to Lumion 11 for rendering and show you Lumion settings and effects to render it.
By the end of this video, you'll have the skills necessary to create high-quality architectural visualizations using SketchUp and Lumion workflow. So make sure to check it out!

Try downloading a fresh copy of SketchUp and run it again. Right-click on the installer and choose “Run as administrator” to ensure proper installation. Make sure any older SketchUp versions are closed. Reboot your computer to clear out memory before installing large applications. After installation, reboot again to ensure a clean setup. If the installation won’t start, compare the size of your downloaded Setup file to the official download sizes. If there’s a difference, delete the incomplete file and download again.

which do you prefer autocad or revit?
It really depends on the scale of the project. For larger projects, I prefer using Revit because it helps save time and ensures accuracy across all the drawings that need to be published. Revit’s capabilities in managing complex data and maintaining consistency make it ideal for large-scale projects. For smaller projects, AutoCAD can be more straightforward and efficient.

This educational plot stamps on printing issue only occurs in AutoCAD or in other Autodesk programs as well?
Watermarks like this also occurs in SolidWorks' educational version and a few other CAD software as well. Remember that these watermarks serve to discourage commercial use of educational versions.
@@architutors In Revit I have the student license and when printing the student plot stamp has never appeared, I have used Revit from its 2021 version onwards, I do not know if this plot stamp problem existed in previous versions. That's why I asked, I never had to do any tricks to remove the annoying stamp, at least in Revit.
Yes that's correct. There isn't a built-in educational watermark in Autodesk Revit like the one in AutoCAD. Also in Autocad 2022 and later versions, there's no longer an educational watermark.
