@SKo-zh1hm the top of the hill is 30', it leads to the ocean in 1/2 mile.
fun ride! not sure how long you've lived here, but do you recall a 'greek-ish' hoagie/sub shop that sold round sandwiches/hoagies with pepperoni as part of the stack of meats, per se. The bread was in the realm of a type of pita bread. Round with dimples, like a saucer shape. We would always get a hoagie there when visiting. They were sooo good. No one else made hoagies like they did.
@SerpicoDreams I've been in County permanently since 2003. Been living downtown 5+ years. After 10 years of overnight shift, I got to join the rest of the world, lol. I'm still discovering local spots.
@@ExploreSouthFlorida561 ok. That shop dates back to the late 70s, so odds are it no longer exists. I think it was family run.
this is a little bit funny. mallard ducks, I guess or similar. we have a lot of Canadian snow geese up here. the one almost looks like a quail bird. hope he enjoyed this.🐈⬛🐧

Is Mar-a-Lago right across from West Palm Beach/Island-wise. Trump is due here tomorrow for a rally at Temple University. Of course he attended Wharton School of Business, which is part of the Ivy League school, University of Pennsylvania, aka UPENN. (little fyi. I read that in 2020, for New Year's Eve, during the tail end of the worst of the pandemic, he invited music bands, Berlin (performing 'Take My Breath Away,' along with Eminem and Taylor Dane.... Kind of odd he would choose Berlin and Take My Breath Away when shortness of breath was a major symptom of Coronavirus...I started to wonder if he was truly evil....or, if he was doing "Intel' ....hard to tell because most of us liberals up here love to hate him. But I wondered if he spoke through actions/maps/...or other things. we have a Palomar Hotel, just half a block from me with Ben Franklin's image in the ceiling lights overhang by the valet stand. Mar, in English, means to 'impair the appearance or disfugure' ...and I wondered if he desperately wanted to vote from Palm Beach County in 2020 for some unknown reason and spoke through his purchase of the Mar a Lago home.
@serpicodreams Mar a Largo is across the Southern most of the 3 bridges, East on Southern Blvd. It was owned by the Post cereal heir. She left it to the government as the "Southern Whitehouse." The Feds didn't want to pay the crazy property tax and sold it at auction to Trump long ago. I'm not a fan, but the property has a cool history. I've obtained leftover cookies from events there... evil/hate tastes delicious!

@kyu-YT66 I have a trains and bridges Playlist. The Brightline is on there a few times. I live ~1 mile from the West Palm Beach stations, Tri Rail to the West and Brightline to the East.

@@ExploreSouthFlorida561 Ok. I really enjoyed it. I had cousins who, many years ago, lived on Waterway Drive...I guess that's technically North Palm Beach. Sometime in the 90s the house was sold, etc. And, be safe out there. I know what it's like to rely on a bike, running, walking to get around much of the time. So hot down there. ugh.
@@SerpicoDreams On the way back I stuck to US1 and some of the neighborhoods to the West. Checked a map and I was within a mile of Waterway Drive. I'm lucky enough to have a car, but it's impracticable to have another living downtown so 2 of us share it. I'd prefer to ride a bicycle everywhere, but it's just not designed for it down here. As for the heat, I found out long ago that I'd rather sweat than even be chilly. So sweat I do!

Had cousins/aunt/uncle who lived in West Palm Beach on a canal many years ago. And, a grandmother who lived in North Palm. Her park no longer exists, was behind a bowling alley and over the railroad tracks. We would visit Singer Island, too.
