This parasite can latch on fishes tongue then after they do that, they sever it after they latch on the little amount of tongue piece on it and grabs all the food that the fish eats when it dies it will find a new host
What bait are you use for catch sailfish?
Slimy mackerel, yellowtail scad, hardtail scad, sardines… and other baitfish that we can find locally

I have this same exact reel! Thanks to the live liner I have landed countless fish on it! You should pair it up with an 8 foot heavy dial with BG rod that’s what I use

Yeah perfect reel till those cheap stamped gears strip out. I gave up on penn long time ago. Their spinfisher and slammer are ok tho, at least they have cnc gears which are alot stronger

I have that same Tiger Stik that you bought in the 80s. Has the tuna on it as well. Never ever let me down. Never saw a white Tiger Stik. Where did you see it for sale ? I own a lot of Ugly Sik rods in all shapes and sizes. Never broke one.
Yeah, the ugly stiks are superb and nearly indestructible. The white tiger is specially made for select Asian market.

Got it! Was trying a double uni knot with a floating fly line and a 6lb mono and no luck! (Maybe it was my thin mono with a thick float line that was the issue) With your knot, everything cinched nice and tight. Will commit to memory. Thank you!
