@@castingacrosstexasfishing yep it’s all in the finesse techniques using only 8 pound test line. Work it like a drop shot pretty much with two or 3 twitches long pauses and reel till you feel it vibrating.

​@@moriarty3490 laws vary in the big wide world outside your island. You don't need 3 chambers in the U.S. Not sure that's accurate for the UK, but you're the expert. From what I understand, you only need 2 chambers for touring SUP. He's on a pond so one chamber is legit.

Right on! I have caught some nice ones at Decker Lake a few weeks back. I just try to travel and fish places that are close to my job. fit that paddle board in my wife’s hatchback on the days that I don’t drive the truck more than 100 miles a day to work, and not to pay a fee to fish.

They only stick trout there in the winter around January 11th.

Yes I flipped it sideways when I was launching from that steep part of the bank on the south end of the lake by the tall grass. Fins got stuck in the mud and pulling them out is what caused it.
