Stew's passion project was definitely epic to see in person. I'm been to hundreds of museums, but never one dedicated to tractors that was as nice as Paquette's.

@@TheAdventureSchmuck I actually was hired as an entertainment technician at LEGO land Florida last week! I was born and raised in Polk County. The last time I was at cypress gardens was when I was 8-9 years old. I miss the park. Most of my co-workers had never been or heard of cypress. During my onboarding training I was able to walk the park and the first place I went was the gardens! Thank you so much for capturing this footage years ago.

@@prodriley Congrats on the job. I've heard that working for Merlin is wonderful. They treat their employees a lot better than a lot of other theme park operators (Six Flags is notoriously bad).

Absolutely. Big Daddy is also the guy that made the Hemi engine a racing legend (years before Petty).

I went to the one in Dartmouth, but I didn't have my camera with me that day. Plaidium is an amazing place to go.

I do really enjoy Lagoon. It has that old school amusement park vibe and the maintenance is usually pretty good. My only gripe is some times the operations are really slow loading the rides.

It's an amazing car and definitely one of the nicest car museums I've visited.

Close... this specific mountain coaster is located in Missouri, but the scenery is indeed very similar looking to the Smoky Mountain Coaster in Pigeon Forge.

They are fun -- btw It's really sunny out of the water, so try to go on a cooler day.

A few people told me about them, but I didn't see them the night I was there. I would have filmed them if they had shown up.

They definitely run the water slides 7 days a week during the summer / peak season. I filmed this video during the Off Season (March 2024) where the slides were closed during the weekdays. They didn't have any signage but the staff at the main gift shop told me about the water slides being closed on weekdays during the winter season.

Same here. It is a shame so many parks have removed them over the last decade or so (Busch Gardens Tampa, Miami Metro Zoo, etc).

@@TheAdventureSchmuck - I never got to ride the Busch Gardens Tampa monorail, but I saw an old map of the park and it looked great. 😥

@@Monorail-Beyond-the-Veil It was a huge loss, the monorail at Busch was one of my favorites. It wasn't as good as the monorail at Disney World, but still... any monorail is cool.

The older videos I would film with a GoPro 11 Black at 5.3k and then use Topaz AI to scale it to 8k. But for the most recent videos, I am shooting natively in 8K on an Insta360 Ace Pro. I filmed multiple trips to Busch, so I don't remember which camera I was using for this day.

@@TheAdventureSchmuck I use a GoPro Max but haven't tried upscaling them yet. I have a lot f 360º Ricoh Theta and Theta V footage of attractions like Great Movie Ride that are no longer around that I have been on the fence about buying Topaz to upscale.

Yes, although I feel like Williamsburg is the more scenic park. Tampa is quite a bit older considering it opened in 1959 while Williamsburg opened in the 1970's.

That's pretty amazing. Kirby Farm creates absolutely amazing haunted houses. You all did a great job.... The actors were really good in that haunted zone.

As someone who has been visiting this museum since the 1980's (back when they were located near the airport) -- the place was in the worst condition I've ever seen it. My most recent visit was depressing.

I remember Professor Bubbles. It was at the park the very first time I went. I believe that was when they were showing the Grand Canyon IMAX film, too (before they switched to Speed). All the earlier shows were probably superior (I know I preferred Colorado Riders show to the Lipizzan Stallions).

Yes, the auction happened about a month after they closed the museum. I'm not sure who bought all the tractors.

Definitely. They have really improved security at the International Drive location over the last 2 years.

It is definitely a great choice for families with young children. The water park is rarely crowded.

We use to love this place. Haven't been since 2019. My kids are a little too old now. We loved it just the way it still is. We love staying at different places and doing different experiences. Our last time was unfortunately the day before hurricane Irma.

It's a great place to visit. Lots of amazing memorabilia to see!

Well Panama City Beach is nearly 300 miles from Rainbow Springs State Park. Definitely not convenient. The closest decent beach is probably Daytona Beach, but that is still 100 miles. Fort Island is okay as long as you know what to expect -- the main attraction is that fishing pier, the beach always seemed like an afterthought.
