How hard is this job
What was wrong with the engine first? Since you work at the dealership how much ball park figure do you think it cost for timing chain replace on a 3007 e350 4matic benz? I have 208000 miles on the vehicle.
Yea thats torqued to spec
I bought a screw extractor set from Amazon but couldnt actually fit it in the very tight area inside a split rim of an electric scooter trying to fix a flat. Thinking my new $1000 scooter was doomed, I tried your method and in under a minute - REMOVED! Thanks for this trick!
Those husky tools suck.. they snap like toothpicks
If the original bolt was a 6mm, why didn't you use a 7mm verse the 8mm? Is this to ensure a bigger bite than a 7mm? I have this issue on my axle clamp bolt and stressed over what to do because, if I can't get that bolt out, it is a $2300 part without factoring gin labor!! Cheap ass bolts.
What was you doing underneath that it took so many guys it looks like you spent more time under the car then on top?
WOW... It was so detailed and useful... Thank you. NOT! I will surely return to see this clip again if I missed seeing a bunch of people running around like a chicken without a head.
Can we please get a normal version? We want to learn.
Stripped my shock tube, hoping this works. Excellent job on the video.
Torq... it is a torx bit. Only works if you are in a wide open space and have lots of room to swing a hammer.
Try it on heavy duty brake caliper bolts with a 10mm size hex nut. Impossible. EZ outs won’t even work due to the caliber bolts installed with thread locker from the factory. Sometimes things are just broken.
this trick worked great on my mercedes drive shaft... saved me alot of headache
I took the engine out of my E350 and i had two clips come out pulled the flywheel off. Can anyone tell me what they are and where they go? I’m trying to post a picture of them
Do you still know the steps you used to remove the engine?
Excellent
..well, I have a square hole not unlike the old fashioned diff plugs. It's a bung provided for an after market sensor. It's rusted in to the head. I will try that trick.
Is the replacement hardware stainless?

Idiot
Man. This worked the first time, both times I had to do it. Genius. If you are looking for a method that works, this one does. 👍
I'm glad I got the e320 .
Hey if I send you my valve cover can you do this for me ?
Try crawling under a truck and removing a rounded Allen head diff bolt. It's not easy!
How’s you get it out I’m in the same boat here lol
I'll do this tomorrow.. let's see what happened 🤞
What HP was yours at this point?
Pros and cons to running a ml320 in a gambler?
Pros:everything. Cons:none
I just bought a ml320. Will be running in tge Upcoming Texas Gambler. What size tires are you running, and are you happy with them?
what was the realtime hours for 4 people ?
I really wish more cars came with screwed in baffles. An old miata I had was the only one that I've seen at least.
Gambling! Lost ranger checking in!

You guys from Whiteman or Leonard Wood ?
KCK
wow very cool subscribed!
Did you leave the transmission in the car? Looks like you did?
Yes, Just unbolted the bell housing bolts and seperated the Tq Converter. Obviously you ill need to disconnect Electrical connectors and trans cooler lines
Great video, that's the first one I see that describes how to remove the baffles and how to tap in new screws! By the way why not using rivets? Is that even possible?
No rivets
Thx you for the great idea had them lying around never used until today 😁👍🏻
Saved my life best thing ever
Doesn't fuckin work with Chinese metal.... U just strip it again
Exactly my thoughts.
are you jacking it from different points? what are actually doing, can you please explain because I may have to change the damper myself thanks
Worked great
Does this ruin the triple square bit?
No. Most bolts tend to be softer than the bit
Of course it will!!
Thanks for the great vid. Did the screw come loose after a few heat cycle and did the paint inside the valve cover cause any problems though?
i drove the car a couple thousand miles, most of the time i drove it i was beating the hell out of it and the screws never came out. just make sure you have the loctite. I sold the evo since then. Paint did not seem to cause an issue either
Thank you sir
What if there is no access to hammer it in?
if you cant hit it with a hammer maybe it would be best to try another removal method. but you could try using some big channel locks and see if that gets it
Worked for me first try, thanks!
Glad I could help, hopefully it saved you a headache.
