Military Appreciation Trip Dec 2018 with OCD Guide Service
Finally took a military appreciation trip with OCD Guide Service. It was great. I always enjoy fishing on this boat. We drifted 4 times. Caught all 5 blues on the first drift and the channel on the 4th drift. It was a great trip. Cold but great. Thanks for watching.

Testing out a medicine bottle I made to chum the water while fishing. I caught my first Carp with it. I also caught a catfish before my camera died. Enjoy!

Fishing for Reds using head-on shrimp from HEB. Cast out as far as I could but not far enough. Need to invest in some waders or bring my boots next time.

A clip from our Braunig Lake adventure. Went for some carp fishing since the boat is in the shop. Decided to bring the dog. Sorry for all the barking. Came back with a huge Tilapia, though we was totally wrong on the species in the video...lol. It was a beautiful day!!!
2018 Catfish Conference

My adventure at the 2018 Catfish Conference in Louisville, KY. This was a great conference. Lots of dedicated cat-fishing people with alot of knowledge about the sport. I highly recommend going to this conference if you're just getting into cat-fishing or even if you've been catfishing all your life. Just the pure experience of the conference was awesome. Trying out CJ's Bait Company's Slip Cork and Catfish Shad Punch Bait at a local pond stocked with Catfish. Worked pretty well. Caught 4 fish before I had to leave and found a night stick in my tackle after the 3rd catch in order to get some of this on camera. Enjoy

I haven't fished there for awhile. Since it's a stocked pond the catfish normally eat on a schedule. Say early morning then noon then 5-6pm the maybe again at 10pm. It's really hit or miss.

I was thinking this setup for catfishing.
That's what species I was going for just caught a carp as well. I was using the stink bait that comes in a tub inside the medicine bottle. I think I will try wet dog food next time.

lol Nice... if you go to Calaveras avoid boat ramp 2 unless you have 4 wheel drive. That ramp gets so slippery and is fairly steep I'm fairly new to boating...(as a boat owner) and that ramp is dangerous. I thought it was just me but google it there are news stores about that ramp.

Most of the time, but we've been trying our luck at Calaveras since we primarily fish for catfish.
