Why do the black American male CZcamsrs create an image of Brazil like it is paradise, which isn't true? I read some information about the racism in Brazil and recently had a conversation with a black Brazilian living in the USA and he confirmed everything I read. He spoke about the racism black Brazilians have to endure from white and mixed Brazilians, and the lack of social mobility for black Brazilians. He also said Brazil is a very racist country and black men in Brazil suffer daily and face constant discrimination. The Brazilian martial artist, Anderson Silva, has also spoken about the hardship he had growing up in Brazil as a black man. Him and his family live in the USA. I think black Americans who visit and live in Brazil are in denial about the racism because they are desperate for Brazilian women. Y'all need to stop deluding yourselves saying Brazil has a classism problem and honestly acknowledge the racism in the country which severely impacts the lives of black Brazilians.

Great question and comment! .................... There is definitely racism in, not just Brazil, but ALL the Americas, Europe, The Middle East, Africa, and really every where in some form. Some of my other videos address the racism I have experienced in the U.S.A., Colombia, and in Brazil. ........... The men making the videos making Brazil seem like a paradise are likely enjoying a different experience than what they have experienced in the U.S.A. I can't speak for others, but I will give you my opinion about Brazil and the U.S.A. I experience racism/discrimination in both countries and in different ways. However, I enjoy the people, culture, the music, and lifestyle I have here in Brazil. I am also in a unique position to help Brazilians make business connections internationally. That's a part of the business I started for myself. ................... There is no such thing as paradise. But I am achieving several of my life goals living here. Living by the beach. Being my own boss. Working with international professionals to find success. Coaching the younger generation to reach their goals. ..............

@@TheGlobalProfessional The more I research Brazil, the more I'm inclined to believe the racism there is similar to the conditions of the US in the 1940's and 1950's. Brazil is behind the times and truly exemplifies systemic racism. I live in a major city in the US and recently had surgery. My surgeon was a highly accomplished dark-skinned black American man. The surgery was done at a very large hospital that has medical facilities throughout the city. In those facilities, there are black people who are surgeons, physicians, physician assistants, nurses, radiologists, physical therapists, ultrasound technicians, receptionists, patient escorts, security guards, cafeteria workers, and so forth. There's an assortment of black people working in different areas with different pay scales. I'm inclined to believe that I would never see anything close to this in Brazil because black Brazilians that try to pursue high paying careers are denied and discouraged. Brazil has deliberately created a system that prevents black Brazilians from experiencing economic mobility. Denying someone opportunity because of the color of their skin is evil. And I feel bad for black Brazilians, because living under these conditions is not good for the psyche and will break the drive, determination, and spirit of a person. I've always wanted to visit Brazil but I have changed my mind. I will not visit Brazil unless things change for the better.

Is it really easy to be healthy in Brazil? I don't associate the Brazilian diet with being healthy. Looking from the outside, it appears many Brazilians indulge in a diet that has lots of meat, sugar, salt, and refined carbs. Too much meat is bad but sugar, salt, and refined carbs will destroy the body especially for black people who are sometimes prone to getting diabetes and high blood pressure. How do you manage to eat and stay healthy while living in Brazil? Do you hang out with health conscious people?

Actually I went to work in a Kibbutzim in Israel back in the 80's and found, at least back then, Tel Aviv very similar to Barranquilla. Green avenues, lots of trees, the size of the streets. I was amazed!
