Sing immigration at Woodlands is an absolute bear if you can’t use the automated gates. Fortunately, Sing and the US have a reciprocal arrangement with through the US Global Entry system. You register with Sing ICA at an in-person appointment (which can be made online). The approval allows you to use the automated gates plus allows you 90 days in country as opposed to the usual 30 days. We registered our vaccination status online as well as filled out the entry card online and breezed through immigration. That being said, after a debacle in traveling between Penang and KL by bus, we did the KL to Sing by Scoot Air. What should have been 4.5 hours Penang to KL was closer to 7 because we used a horrible bus company (Billion Stars). Lesson learned. We always had good luck with KKKL, but they were sold out on the Penang-KL run the day we left (likely due to the election).
