Welcome back Tim.
Great player Topman ! ❤
Ye new singing
Gary, danny and the cookie monster, will make sure it's all ready for this coming season..x
I'm going to miss Paddy at County I live in Ireland but get over when I can I knew him before he moved to County from here in all honesty I think League 2 is right for him I think League 1 would be just too much at this stage in his career I will be following Chesterfield results as much as Counties next season.
Stockport fan here, you'll be fine in L2 next season 👍
Wrexham fan, brilliant job this year Paul. Great to get Paddy on board, a splinter in many teams backside. Good look next year
wise man.
3 quality standout managers in the lower divisions for me are Paul Cook, Dave Challinor and Nigel Clough. Chesterfield will do well this year, I am sure of it. Paddy is a superb player who will become a legend at Chesterfield...gutted that he left Stockport.
From an SCFC fan...Chesterfield fans, you don't know how lucky you are having this guy in your team...Paddy is such a great leader and will bring guaranteed goals. A county legend...looks after him guys
I've been watching Town for 50 years and I have never known a management team and a group of players give the town as much excitement and buzz as at the present time. What an outstanding effort from Paul Cook and his boys to lift us into League 2. I'm still overwhelmed from the Maidenhead game. I was there with my brother absolutely revelling in our team's achivement. Come on you Spireites!
As an Ipswich Town fan it has to be mentioned that Paul Cook was the one who cleared out the dross at Portman Road, bringing in many of the players who've taken us to the Prem. Unfortunately for him Kieran MacKenna is a better manager who's been able to improve the players Cook signed (and a few more) far more than he ever would. Best of luck to Chesterfield back in the EFL.
As far as I know (that's not a lot) Paddy is a proven pro'. As Cookie said a #10 or 8 an experienced, ball winning, scoring midfielder can't do any harm. Can't wait to see him & the team nxt season. Bring it on! One thing Cookie got wrong ... Championship is where we are headed! Spirites! 10,000 every game!
he's a great leader aswell, hopefully you can get promotion back to league one
Is Cook ok? He only seemed to have 2 different tones to his voice. Normally he has about 6 🤣
He hadn't spent 90 minutes having a go at the referee before this interview that's why 😂
Great signing ..superb addition 👌
TOP MAN 💙⚽️✊️
Enjoy the summer in Cookie we trust
About time he got a statue built, regardless of how the future looks
Best manager I have seen at the club ( twice ). Absolute class. Always happy to have a chat before an away game if you see him around the team coach. Passion , honesty and humility. Always praises the players not himself. Not many managers do that. If he gets us back into L1 I will build the statue myself! Thanks for getting us out of hell Paul.
SUPER PAUL COOK
In Cook we trust !❤
County’s loss and your gain . Been an absolute inspiration and model pro at Edgeley Park .
As a stockport fan you'll enjoy him
Go on the Padster, all the very best at Chesterfield, they have got themselves a real quality baller and an all round decent bloke
The wrong shade of blue. Absolutely gutted that he wasn't given the contract he deserved with us. You lot got a good leader, a great talent, and a better man. God bless ya' Paddy. All the best to you.
Good luck at Chesterfield Paddy. You are a County legend and we will miss you, thanks for all you have done for us, enjoy your new challenge.
Good luck Paddy, thank you for all you've done for County. Our loss is definitely their gain, you are a true star man x
Any negative comments are only going to be jealous or disappointed fans. He’s got 2 years of goals in him at any level - what a great man he is too! Best of luck skipper.
Club Legend, so sorry to see this man leave County. Good Luck at Chesterfield, they are lucky to have signed the Starman of the EFL.
Fab interview - welcome Paddy 👍✊
Paddy you'll forever be a legend at County, all the best for the continuation of your career with Chesterfield
This is a great signing for Chesterfield and what a talisman. You’ll be missed at County Paddy and good look at Chesterfield.
Leader and a standard setter, good luck Paddy, thanks for all you've done 💙
Great player, scores goals and good lad.
all the best paddy
Gutted we've lost Paddy. He's no spring chicken, but he's more a Teddy sheringham than Michael Owen kind of striker. Even if he loses a yard of pace he's still got the vision and touch to set up goals while scoring a pile. Essentially our loss is your gain. He was our top scorer while spending half of the season on the subs bench, more or less. I'd keep him in the first 11 if you want to push for promotion.
Up the Chezzy!
Great signing
Good luck playing for Spireites Paddy and thanks for the memories. Chesterfield has got themselves a model professional and leader.
We're all chezzy aren't we 🙌🏻
Good luck at Chesterfield Paddy and thanks for everything you did at County, you'll be missed.
Not Chezzie
If he gets us 20 goals and promotion he can call us Chezvegas or Chezzie for all I care
I think that's the forward line sorted for now. We need to find a goalkeeper or re-sign Harry Tyrer and sort out the defence. Not just the central defenders but work with the whole team to stop conceding goals and penalties.
Love the accent 😀…. You can tell from this interview that paddy has the right character to fit in perfectly as the gaffa says is what the guys are like off the pitch and around the building is as important as their ability on the pitch … welcome to spirites paddy … we expect 20 + goals so no pressure then 😂😂😂😂 … good luck and have a great season mate 👍💙💙💙💙
He's so much more than a goal scorer, he's a true leader.
Statement of intent here, great signing! Looking forward to playing you guys, welcome back to League Two :)
Stop saying chessy
Think he said chezzy 😂
Taking the place of that donkey Quigley
Looks like you've misspelt Cheesy
Omg someone's phone changed the text just it was sent get the pitchforks out . He's got no hair but we don't care super paddy madden
