@@BigBrainLeeB Yeah but six months of training is like a single wrestling season, would you trust a person who did one season of wrestling, not 4 years, not college, but one year to defend takedowns of people who have been training for years?

If he had 6 months to train mma like I stated in the video, I think he could develop a basic enough knowledge of the sport and how to defend against leg kicks and takedowns

same idea here, it's just that fight iq and determination that leads me to that conclusion

He wouldnt even make it into the top 20 in the ufc. Boxing and MMA are just diffrent worlds

@@morten8586 have you read and understood the guy's comment? - his point is that he would've excelled at any martial art, if he trained it.

And if he was able to practice both, he could definitely be up there as one of the greats

Even though I know that it would be hard for a boxer to transition to mma, you’ve got to remember when Rodtang fought Mighty Mouse, he was fighting one of the greatest to ever do it. If we look at some of the top 15 that I recon he could beat, it’s quite hard to see Romanov becoming anywhere near as great as DJ. Also I know this won’t be completely the same but usyk was able to out-manoeuvre Fury in the clinch which may give some indication that purely being laid on by someone 40-50lbs heavier than him won’t be enough, which is why I believe that some of the lower ranked guys who rely on weight over their technical ability to take people down would have more difficulties taking him down than you may have expected. I would agree but idk if they will do multiple events in Brazil this year, I’d love for them to do so since it gives them a chance to diversify their audiences but I feel like 301 will be the only one this year

Bo vs Weidman is a fight I hadn’t thought about before. Maybe something like that on the McGreogr vs Chandler card could be fun as it’s more of a vets vs prospects fight and fits the TUF 31 theme

Hi Josh. I personally think that salt has a decent chin but slim is just a huge power puncher. If we think about all of slims opponents, he has knocked down everyone he has fought except for Zanetti but Tom was a tank and probably weighed in at like 190lbs or something (he looked huge lol). I’d love to see this fight and can’t wait to see the next misfits announcement

@@BigBrainLeeB agreed 👍🏼 I never said salt has a bad chin just the worst of the four or from what we have seen. So in my opinion he has the biggest chance to be knocked down especially if it is an 8 or 6 round fight. We have both thought of a great fight idea though you know what they say great minds think alike

Welp. You might have just outdone me here. This would be an incredible card but I think I would make one quick change and that would be to have colby and Ian on the main card because their feud would sell a lot of ppv’s so it would make a lot of sense to have them on there. Overall though, this would be a far better UFC 300 card than what we got. I mean, the cards not awful but it’s certainly not the jaw dropping event we were promised.
