Fun fact, this isn’t even the only SMT If reference in the game. In the very beginning of the game, if you look closely at the back of the Occult Magazine while Chiaki is reading it, you can see an advertisement for NOVA, the fortune teller game you used to determine your starting build in SMT If.

The bass always reminds me of Cynthia's theme. Fitting that these two ptsd inducing themes are similar, or it's just that the intensely repeating low bass is naturally intimidating and so it shows up in a lot of pieces meant to be intimidating.

It's not even really buffs you need in this match so much as it is specifically the hit/evasion debuff to deal with Red Capote, and a bit of a level spike that's easily solved with some grinding. It's just one of those annoying roadblock RPG fights, like Seymour in the mountains FF X.

When you hit the Riberama or Attract Pipe after New Kagutsuchi and you already killed 10+ groups without hitting the experience/macca screen yet.

Honestly, while I also love Lucifer's theme; this should have been the final track. So chilling, with a sense of finality I feel was missed with lucifer's theme.

Matador triggered me soo badly that I said "-Fk it! Im going full Elemental resistance!" And made my Demi fiend unskillable. I was soo under leveled in final boss fight with 🪩 but Demi guy alone was standing and miserably punched bosses face soooo long.

Sounds more of a boss theme than a regular battle theme
