My diabetic neuropathy, in my injured left drop foot. I'm on pain medications, but some days, they don't help. Anyway, do you have a home attendant or home health aid to help you out? Congratulations first of all on your many achievements and also graduating from college!! Especially with disabilities adds extra challenges! Great tips on dating and platonic friendships as well. We are not only our disability but we are so much more! I believe God made us in his image… It’s ok to not feel like you’re a burden to who you’re dating or in a friendship. Life happens to everyone!! Everyone has good and bad days, we just have to be more mindful because of an illness or disability. As you said, it’s something to consider discussing early on but not too early because some people are close minded. There will be times when other people will need your assistance as well! Even virtual hugs, a smiley face text, or a smile when they walk into the room will lift someone’s spirits! Great tips! Thank you for sharing!! ❤
