      Bonjour, merci a vous. Normalement c'est un condensateur pour chaque bit. par exemple une RAM de 1 Go, c'est 2^30 x 8.

    Hello. I have several questions about your Megatron Project. What I understood after reading your README.md is you removed the VGA and replaced it by small screens, and added a native keyboard. And there is also NES controller.circ. But how can I see that screens? Where are the screens components? And how can I use NES controller File? Is it possible to insert input values not by my mouse but keyboard? I thought that Logisim doesn't support VGA so you changed the way to print screen. I just want to see the Gigatron Screen by logisim. Is it possible?

      Hi The addition of the screen the controller and the keyboard are not intended for simulation in logisim but to be implemented physically in real world. Effectively, Logisim in the standard version can not support VGA. More than that, logisim is way slower for simulation than the real hardware, even if you find a way to show VGA, it would be 1000 times slower. On the other hand, with a homebrew program and a simple modification on the Gigatron circuit, it is possible to use Logisim TTY terminal to easily interact with the machine.

      @@abdelazizkara2352 Is it impossible to extract data intended for VGA output using JavaScript and display it in a different way? You mean there is no way to check the screen output not using a homebrew program? (actually I don't know about that)

      @@sohyunzzq By a homebrew I mean a program different from the software suite supplied by the creators of Gigatron that probably don't use VGA. The use of JavaScript to display the VGA signal, I don't know if it is possible, but I think it would be simpler to use Logisim-evolution instead of Logisim knowing that it support VGA, and it is possible with less effort to migrate from Logisim to Logisim-evolution.

    Hi. I'm not sure whether you answer my question or not but I don't know where the appropriate website is. :( It's your latest video so I leave my comment here. I just found your GigatronTTL.circ file and tried to simulate rom files you uploaded. I loaded your fibonacci.ROM to the ROM of Gigatron TTL. You wrote this: Both programs have iput values for execution, the input value (example 3) has to be put inside the register BUS-IN in Gigatron, ~... Until current address becomes 0006, BUS-IN register is deactivated. And when current address became 0006, BUS-IN register is activated so I gave the BUS-IN register '0000 0110' by controlling SER-IN & CLK & PCLK myself, but when I came back to main circuit (Gigatron TTL), BUS-IN register's value is still '0000 0000.' How can I set BUS-IN register? And is it correct to execute the rom file? I can't find how to run the program. Waiting your answer. Thx. :)

      Hi, the appropriate website is www.el-kalam.com. To execute the fibonacci program, you have to input a value inside BUS-IN, the problem is this Shifter works with the VGA signals HSync and VSync. Unfortunately, those 2 signals are not implemented. The easiest way to get around this shortcoming, is to load the desired value manually. I mean, you have to go inside the Shifter chip and change the internal flipflops manually. You will find inside 2 rails of flipflops, you have to change the output (or parallel) rail.

      Je n'est pas beaucoup de temps pour le faire, mais il est possible pour n'importe qui d'ajouter une traduction à la vidéo. J'aurai aimé que les étudiants le fasse, sinon je vais le faire lorsque j’aurai plus de temps.

      C'est la ROM qui va contenir les instructions en binaires (langage machine) à faire exécuter. Chaque cellule elle contient une instruction sur 12 bits.

      xor peut aussi fonctionner. Dans tous les cas possibles vous aurez qu'un seul demi-additionneur qui aurait une retenue, donc c'est l'un ou l'autre mais pas les 2. Si il y a une retenue dans l'un des demi-additionneurs c'est que l'addition de 3 bits produit aussi une retenue.
