Hi there. It’s a 2022 Husky Norden 901.

Been there once. It was a lot of fun, it was my first off road attempt on the Norden. Last May. It’s a great place.

Yeah I’m new at it. Still learning. I spend most of my riding life on asphalt.

I think calling it a mountain is overly ambitious, as it’s about as tall as an ant mound lol. It’s in Gilmer, TX. It’s a designated off road park. You pay a fee and go have fun, the trails are diamond rated and have a description on a sign before you enter. I stayed on mostly the main “roads” that connect he trails. The name of the place is Barnwell Mountain Recreational Area.

Hi there. Hard to tell, as it’s a designated ATV/Motorcycle/4x4 area. I basically stayed on the “main roads”, and there’s probably about 20 miles of those? Plus, all the dedicated trails, which are diamond rated. It was my first time off road with that bike so I took it easy. It’s called barnwell recreation mountain, in Gilmore TX. You have to pay a fee to the state then it’s good for a year. If you’re not out by a certain hour they go looking for you.

@@slrdude3929 it's about 26 miles if my memory serves me correctly for the single track circuit. If you ever want to go again I am a local. I have a CRF300L Rally I enjoy thrashing out there. It's probably one of the best single track routes in Texas. The single track is actually less sketchy than most of the Jeep trails and you avoid idiots flying around corners on side by sides.

It’s on the windshield. Was on the windshield. The plastic mount snapped in two on the way back lol. Too much vibration. Yeah that road is a lot of fun, even for a newbie like me. I think that was my third time off road.

In Australia it’s called Son of a Gun Grey ..

Nightfall Gray Metalic, its 1 of 2 of the rarest colors on the ss. Nightfall Gray and Orange Blast Metalics were only available in 2017. So if you have a manual SS in either of these colors. Keep the miles on it as low as possible. Because it will have some good value in years to come

@@421ssrida nah, gotta auto '17 Slipstream Blue with 17,700 miles on it. And I think with our '20 presidential changeover, the whole "ss being a good investment" thing is down the toilet. With that power change, we're now full -on "green," with gas only going to go up to help force the EV mess. And between now and when ICE vehicles are banned (triggering inevitable closures of servicing and repair and parts businesses...all by design), not sure why someone is going to pay $50,000 or more for extinct, unserviceable machinery. Sad, but no one pushed back on this green crusade from early '70s onward. And here we are...with Exxon Mobil allowing one on their Board of Directors and all car companies speaking of "the transition" like it's just obviously necessary and a done deal.

Nightfall Gray Metallic is the eighth rarest SS paint color. It is a beautiful color, and is also featured on the 50th Anniversary Camaro, as well as the Equinox, Malibu, Impala, Blazer, Trax, Bolt, and Sonic, whereas the four rarest colors are Australian in origin and appear stateside only on the Chevy SS.
