You are correct. Over a decade ago an old Thai man who worked at a gas station in Dallas Texas who knew I had been recently divorced told me if I ever wanted a good lifetime wife, get a Thai girl. He was right. After having moved here my Thai GF and I spent 6 years together and then married, as happy today as everyday. *That old Thai man back in Dallas was right!*

@@ivankamau2846 Well mannered, clean shaven, I would say you are well prepared on your way. Fate will likely find you on your way, and outcome will be as that old Thai man's wisdom of happiness. We built a house all paid for, the land from her family and the house cost around 35k, it will serve her well after I am gone, along with whatever I can save for her future after me. This is the yin/yang of that happiness. I am the same as the family favorite pet dog (that may sound harsh, but it's a really great life). My wife speaks English and has gotten better with the years of us. I can't speak conversational Thai, she speaks conversational English, that's important. Every day we smile into each others face and that's most important. *subscribed*

It’s been an interesting journey so far…I’ve been to some villages and the countryside and see many Thai people who are darker than me. I always say that we are all the same people. It’s important to control our own narrative, stop letting others define us and stop letting others divide us…no matter what culture or language!

I spent the first 2 weeks in Jomtien…absolutely loved it! Really enjoyed drinking beer and eating food on the beach every evening, with the small table and chair rentals. I really enjoyed listening to the simple conversation between you and these wonderful ladies. I visited Thailand and the Philippines this past January and February (2024) to compare the two as possible retirement options. Had the time of my life! I can see from watching this video that I should have ventured out of Bangkok to the Isan region to meet a more traditional type of woman. I'll be watching your channel to learn more about how to meet a traditional Thai lady.

Thai culture is all about respect,I’m born and raised in America and I’m a black man.What I can say is this they do not do a great job with teaching us Americans respect nor honer.America has a individualism economy and our government allows us to self destruct.Asian and middle eastern countries they hold there citizens to a high standard.They also hold foreigners who come in to a high standard as well.Asia also have a better and stronger workforce than America because you have to be qualified,skilled and talented.They don’t do cheap nor general labor.America can learn a lot from Asia.
I respect ✊🏿 and agree with your words brother! As you know, the top 1% controls everything, jobs, politics, culture manipulation, undermining other countries! It’s up to us to understand that, realize that it’s better to work with each other and enjoy a better life. I'm 62 and met my 31 gorgeous Isaan gf on TF. She worked in a hospital in BKK, never been near the bar scene. It can be done. They are out there. After 5 visits to see her, she is now with me in CA on a K-1 visa.

"I represent people that look like me"....Sir, I don't know who you are but this video was on my Feed and what a blessing and breath of fresh air, from the many channels I follow. I am African American from the U.S. and a 12 year U.S. Navy Veteran. I travelled around while in the military and that statement you made was PRICELESS..!! I wish more of us would realize that and also realize these countries offer so much more than the nightlife. I will be going back to the Philippines and visiting Thailand for the first time at the end of this year. I hope I can visit Vietnam too. I am currently debating between Thailand and Vietnam for retirement. That woman was dropping BARS in that video too...! I studied Taekwondo, Choy Li Fut, and Yang Tai Chi...! You are the perfect example of why I wanted to make videos like this. 2 years ago when I started seriously considering living in Asia, I looked at many videos on CZcams also...but choosing only those that provided valuable information. My conversation with her was brief, with few words because it was Pat’s interview, so she did most of the talking. But, whenever Kwang did speak, her words were intelligent, thoughtful, precise, trustworthy, and impactful! She always spoke at the right moment! I am very observant of people…even her posture, demeanor and poise-very impressive! Kwang is a remarkable young woman. I look forward to hearing what she has to say…I’m sure that her interview will receive many, many views as well!

Also, Ya mentioned that I could have shortened it…obviously most people have very short attention spans for something like this, but they will browse through TikTok for hours at a time! The interview didn’t seem to take long! And, I didn’t leave anything out during editing because I felt that the information could inspire someone in regards to relationships, education, and just being good people!
@@ivankamau2846 The Isan and the Southern Thai remind me of the U.S. Black. They originate in agrarian societies, which accounts for their complexions, and their farm roots. They migrated to the largest cities, in search of broader opportunities. In doing so, they largely retained their cultures of cuisine, and their ethnic music- which bled into the larger culture. And they have their own dialect, distinct and abbreviated from Central Thai, or standard U.S. English. I rock w/ Isan ppl because of these and other similarities. Of course, Isan don't KNOW these things about Black U.S. culture. But as soon as a U.S. Black is around them, we see the commonalities

We see children being disrespectful to educators and not giving them their flowers for trying to help them prepare themselves for the future Thailand among other countries are on another level when it comes to raising responsible adults, we can definitely take some lessons from these other cultures.
