Haoge lens hood for the Nikon 40mmF2 and 28mmF2.8.
Unfortunately the Nikon 40mmF2 and the 28mm2.8 lenses do not come with a lens hood. So I was looking for a good yet affordable option and I found this one at Haoge.

Nikon Zf SD card hack

For when you don't have narrow fingers either. With the grip but also without, it is wriggling to get the SD card out of the Nikon Zf. This solution works for me. Thanks for stopping by and watching. The original Nikon Zf-GR1
zhlédnutí 6KPřed 2 měsíci
I was curious about the original Zf-GR1 grip for the Nikon Zf but did not find much information about it. The grip is also not for sale where in live. Checked with Nikon Belgium but they couldn't help me get one either. The grip promoted and offered here in Europe is this one from SmallRig. Personally, I don't think it matches the Nikon Zf in terms of look and feel. I don't understand why Nikon...

    Hello, on Amazon they say that it is for the 28mm and 40mm Z series, but do you think it can be used on any other lens that has a 52mm thread? For example, on the AF Nikkor 50mm f/1.8D

    • @alainmonnens
      @alainmonnens Před 8 dny

      If that is also a 52mm thread it will fit. And the this lens hood is not that long, so I suppose it won't cause a problem on the 50mm lens.

      With my reader, I don't have any problems. Depends of course on the reader and how far the card needs to be inserted. It is then important to position the tape so that it is not blocked in the slot of the reader.

    My ZF does not have this problem; after pressing, the memory card extends enough to be taken by my fingers. On the other hand, I don’t see any particular need to take out the card often, since the files recorded on it can be quite easily managed from a PC via a USB-C cable connection. But thank you for the idea presented in the video!

    • @stavros.fourfourianakis
      @stavros.fourfourianakis Před 2 měsíci

      There are some reasons to remove the SD cards instead of using a cable: 1st: Card reader is more fast 2nd: I have a bad experience with Nikon flaps - so I protect them - I do not know if they need to remove the skin of the camera if they change flaps - and I have a colored one - a grey ZF (and is not sure that you will get back a colored one if you send the camera in Service) 3rd: I am using different cards with different saved settings (different settings for MF lenses eg on that case the back button is 100% zoom, while on the other card I have settings for AF lenses eg the back button is 3D tracking), so it is important for me to be able to change cards.

    I recently purchased the Zf-GR1 through eBay, mainly to compare it with my SmallRig Zf Grip, although both Grips are decent, I found the Smallrig grip better when using long or heavier Lens, but feel that the smallrig grip might discolor Nikon Zf Cameras that are Colored, on the other hand, the Real Right Stuff Universal L-Bracket will also fit on the SmallRig Grip, whereas it Will Not fit on the Zf-GR1 Grip. The Zf-Gr1 Grip in my opinion fits the Zf Camera much better than the Smallrig Grip, but the bump on the Grip needs to be a little bigger if you want to use a heavier lens, discoloration is not a concern with the Zf-GR1 as the part of the Grip that contacts the Camera Bump is aluminum.
