That's very hard. Take some hand wash and dilute in water just enough to have little foam/soapiness. Spray the counter with just enogh to slightly wet the surface. Now apply and use squeegy to drive away the water and the bubbles. Advantage is correcting mistakes and also air bubbles.
Das ist viel zu schnell, kann man nichts schauen ,wie
Can it be removed if we’re renting ?
How wide are your countertops ,and is the peel and stick wide enough for regular countertops.thanks. not only are you stunning you are awesome your work is second to none outstanding God bless.

*promo sm* 💥
Ill never understand doing this in your kitchen. Unless you just dont cook
True, I'm looking this up because I got 2 narrow desks which I connected and I want to wrap it to make it look one piece and also have a nice look.
Use a cutting board
❤❤❤
I start something, fail at it and start baking instead.
what happens when you fail at that as well?
@@Ailumer I'm sure there are plenty of other things you're good at😁
I am not anyone’s girlfriend but yeah that’s me
I can’t help it! Diy is like therapy to me 🥰
It's a squeegee not a squidgy lol
hey right
It's the backwards that would of saved my 🤑 and!
What brand did you use?
Looks like dc-fix
Hello! May i ask if this is easy to remove as if we move out, we should remove it back to original kitchen desk. Thank you!
It’s easy to remove either by a blow dryer or simply removing it
Looks horrible :(
I can’t wait to do this
Cool 😊 hope it goes really well for you 😊
@@KateBrice I just moved and the landlord painted on the countertop with some really gross chunky, grainy paint. It’s literally rough and when you try and clean it with a paper towel it rips the paper towel. Like I have no idea what kind of paint she used but I cannot wait to cover it up!
Thank you
We are in the process of doing this and our wall was the same Colour you removed aswell😂. Any advice and what to do next, did you seal the bricks? Repoint them?
is thie vinyl 'food safe'? as in, is it treated with any chemicals, that are harmful for food to be around? I don't know if that's a silly question - but I'd love to do a kitchen reno, but have no idea which vinyls are safe and trustworthy
It is safe for food. I always use chopping boards though😊
I think it’s not safe to have it on the floor, on the countertop should be?
How is it holding up can we have a update video please
About for a year...it will start cracking "here and there"😬
Awesome!
How durable is it xx
It’s been great for over one year now. X
Hi Kate, how does it hold up after a few months of use? Thinking of doing ours but worries about if it wears, splits or stains easily?
Hi Sean, mine is fine after one year. I have looked after it though and there are some sight scratches which is inevitable. It definitely doesn’t split or anything. Like any worktop you need to be careful of curry etc. hope that helps x
Mines lasted 2 years.....I'm replacing 2day with a new shade 😊
Hi, everything I used is on my Instagram 😊 instagram.com/homewithkatelillian X

Is it friendly for people who rent? Easy removable? Thanks for the answer!
Hi jake , yes super friendly but I’d always test a piece if you’re unsure and renting 😃👍
Yes keep it!! 😊
I’m late to the party, but exposed brick is the look I’m going for, so when I saw you taking off all the wallboard, I’m thinking, “ they’re gonna be sorry. You’re blessed to have the brick that’s such a look that people try to emulate.
Thank you lovely 😊
Your room is giving Miami vibes😊

Hi, where can I get this vinyl paper
@@mariajulies9807online or if you’re in the UK, B&M sell it pretty cheap per roll

You should clean them a bit :) Thinking about doing the same in 1 of the rooms in the house. I think it'll look nice.
Thank you 😃
Shouldn’t have done it
WHATEVER you do you, however carefully and slowly you feed it out and painstakingly smooth as you go, will end up with HUNDREDS of air bubbles. Prick them with the tip of a NEW knife blade and press the air out from the outside in, from all sides. When you've been all over it (hours), it will STILL look like a pizza. BUT LEAVE IT, most will completely disappear over a couple of days.
Great advice 😊 I didn’t actually get many air bubbles but I very carefully smoothed it out little by little if that makes sense
It probably depends on the vinyl you use. Mine was pizza but it settled down after a couple of days and I'm happy with it now. Its not glass smooth, but near enough. You have to get right your eyes right down to worktop level to see the few small bumps that remain.
As a kitchen wrapper by trade your completely wrong. It's not a given that you'll end up with lots of trapped air. Carefully and with correct feeding and squeegee technique you can get them down without any. Very smooth glossy surfaces are hardest as the wrap holds fast and other surfaces such as solid mdf that has been made and prepped properly can be more workable as the air is able to travel better but still allowing the wrap to get good adhesion.
@@UpholdersoflightMinistry Most people will DIY, they'll get the results I described.

Thank you 🤍😊
Thank you x
Your guys should take some cleaner top it to make the grout line pop and make the bricks stand out, it makes it look amazing while keeping the rustic look
Yes thank you we have had loads of advice and seems people say the same so next step is to clean it 😊
Nice job on the exterior, is it structurally sound? It could be a she shed
Thank you - yes it’s structurally sound it is my she shed! 😊
