Curiously enough, Eusebius tell us in book 4 chapter 22:4 and book 3 chapter 11 that Simeon, who was the son of Clopas, took over the position of Bishop after James was martyred. He was said to be one of the brothers of Jesus in the gospels. In book 3 chapter 32:1 he says that Simeon had died a martyr(the second bishop of Jerusalem). You get to chapter 32:5, you can find another called a brother of our Lord, Judas(who is also mentioned in the gospels). Now if you follow who were the women at the foot of the cross in the gospels you can find the other two “brothers of our Lord “ who are said to be the sons of Mary the “sister of Mary, mother of Jesus”(cousin using the Greek) and Clopas. So there you have it. The four gents called the brothers of Jesus are cousins. I guess they had at least two sisters.

My whole life I've been surrounded by so called Christians who serve nothing but their own interests and most of them never even heard of James the Just. For me he is the remedy to the false faith that has been plastered over the truth.

Can I just say in Love that your explanation of Joel and the locusts made absolutely no sense. It's this yet it can also be another thing. But- no real explanation of what the scripture is saying in Context. Just saying. I'm not sure where or what your theology is coming from but please try to again answer that particular question. Could the locust devouring crops in Joel have a spiritual application, like could God be revealing how our sin is exactly the same thing, and the war within us with our flesh battling against the Spirit? Do you think under this physical and mental stress or torture that he struggled trying to understand why Jesus would not physically deliver him from prison since he knew Jesus Christ was working miracles. Sorry if this is the wrong place to put up questions, but I would like for you guys to explain, (if that is even possible or granted for us to know),how, if GOD is all powerful, all knowing, and the creater of all things, does he bother with us as the human race, keeping in mind that HE knows every thought , every action and all futures of every single person on earth. What would be the point. If I could see your every move in a game of chess, for instance, before the game even started, and I told you , would there be a point to playing the game. I think with Jesus ruling in the millennium will not mean animal sacrifices in the temple. It doesn’t make sense for death and spilling blood with the ultimate sacrifice being there.

I would recommend a verse by verse commentary on Ezekiel 40-48 on you tube, Calvary Chapel Ontario, Paul Boutillier is the pastor. I find his commentary throughout Scripture very helpful. Also Precepts Ministries has an excellent study on the Book of Ezekiel.

Hello Corie and Mattlock! Thank you for these recaps😊. I have a question from 1 Timothy 2:15. What does 'she will be saved through childbearing' mean in that verse. I understand that there is only one name and one way by which men can be saved and that is through Christ. Does this verse have anything to do with Genesis 3 or the birth of Christ?

Some sources state that James, referred to as Jesus' brother, was actually named Jacob. This is based on the Hebrew origin of the name, which was Ya'akov.

My thoughts on If God knows everything why would He allow it and I think it is because, even though He already knows, He gives us choice. We are not robots. Although He knows, we still have the choice to choose. And I agree with Matlock that there is redemption …again when we Choose to repent and follow The Lord.
