Tommy's Wild adventures is a channel dedicated to traveling, scuba diving, freediving, exploring, fishing & the great outdoors.
My name is Tomasz Burlaga & I have had this channel for over 8 years now but it was formerly known as Burlaga Fishing Team. In 2023 I decided to rebrand the channel and shift direction a bit to showcase more of my travel adventures and underwater shots I was able to capture. Unexpected trips and moments in life are the best. I was on my way to Cairns when a bush fire blocked the main highway and I got stuck in Alice Springs aka the middle of Australia. I’m your mom
Should never put pike on the ice.. will scrap off their protective slim and can cause frost bite. When ice fishing for pike specifically, you should always drill out live well holes. Or even just have something to keep them off the ice. Especially if you’re fishing for bigger pike. And even though the pike didn’t seem to be out of the water for that long, a lot of the time bigger pike like that will generally exhaust them selves during a fight on the line. So sitting there for a minute or a couple minutes and holding them to make sure they give a proper kick can be crucial to them surviving. Great video with great information, just figured id share some of what I know that’s all. Remember the fishes health is always priority #1 when you catch and release.
