New to MGSV but a veteran stealth & FPS player (~150 of my infils are Events farming) Kept dying on security challenge at the core door before I realised this FOB has mines inside the walls, so took it upon myself to learn how to play around it and now it's being farmed for it's S staff. That is actually pretty garbage of the defender, and shame on Konami for not patching this after so many years. Back then there were many other spots like this where you could place a mine or a camera inside a wall, most of them got patched, but how did they miss this, considering it's right at the objective, i cannot fathom. Anyway, well played on your part. One thing of note, you can use cardboard boxes to tank the explosions while you still don't have the energy shield. Cheers.
Yeah tbh this game is infested with cheaters (atleast on PC) it's kind of expected to run into cheesy stuff, I've stolen around 200 S++ from this guy purely because the mines pissed me off lol - cheers for the cardboard box tip I didn't know that was a thing.
Must be nice not having lag. My PC can't keep up with me switching spell lists.
I found it easier to play on a controller. Used keyboard and mouse when I started but it wasn't easy to use the controls. Especially since the targeting is automatic as per camera view.
Yeah that was the most frustrating thing for me too, I ended up rebinding a lot of things and not using the lock too much
How difficult is hard mode? Im playing on normal difficulty not even halfway through the story and i find it very easy to kill enemies

Glacius + Diffindo or Accio + Incendio are insane.

Use "Control III" as perk for all equipments, your ancient throw will do 8-9k damage. Instant kill almost every enemies (also breakthrough shield)

the "good guy" ways of killing are actually much more gruesome - pulling people, launching 'em into air, setting them on fire. How is this more humane that just one beam of light that ends it all immediately, no pain or suffering?
These can be interrupted or deflected or countered but instant death is much more dangerous obviously

The Unforgivable curses require “clear intent” to use them. Simply uttering the incantation with the wand motion wont work. And it wont work in say, you use them in a rage fit. So to cast Avada Kedavra you must in a clear state of mind to kill, whoever does it successfully is truly evil.

These are just random spells, you're not using them effectively.
Sickest combo I've done is expelliarmus, glacius, throw their weapon back at them. Does insane damage

Any way to switch spell bar quickly you have any key setting?
bind "next speel bar" to mouse button 4 (side buttons). That's so fast for me

Nope, the highest damage is not Glacius+Diffindo, but using the weakness of each enemy against them. e.g. Dugbog = Levioso+Diffindo. Loyalist Commander = Enemy Leap attack+Descendo. The game literally tells you those.
I use Bombarda plus all six gear pieces equipped with Concentration III. One shots most groups (goblins/poachers/dark wizards).
You shouldn’t open with descendo. Open with levioso or flipendo then descendo since the damage multiplayer is higher when enemies are in the air already.
Open with Accio, brings them close and lifts them off the ground. Then do whatever combo you want.
He doesn't know what he's doing. Just combining random combos to make it look cool.
He's soaking up a lot of hits... My guys usually die in 2.
The Glacius diffindo is an Insta kill usually but this is also on hard which boosts enemy health with only lvl 1 traits on gear at the time
Doing combos and shit me: Freeze, slice... freeze, slice... freeze slice...

My confringo spell does around 1500 damage with all gears having blast 3
you know whats even better / faster? transformation spell - upgraded to explosive barrel. insta kill 2 people
You can use curses to amplify and kill mobs and one shot cursed trolls with it too

Does anybody kno what the max numbers are for offense and defense? I just hit lvl 40 and I’m at 430 for each wondering how high it can go
you need gear that is lvl 114 and max upgrades wich should be max
im only stuck at 419 both. how do u get 430

It's only about gear, nothing else :D as soon u get at least 400 attack and 400 defense u practicly oneshot everything on glacius - incendio/diffindo and if u take maxima potion + upgrade 16k diffindo or 20k incendio with no problem (hard difficulty)
It’s like twelve Jk I’m a little over 400 each and i think you’d have to max around 450

@@Aveniz there’s a mechanic that’s a staple in RPG’s and fighting games. That staple is called combos. And the longer the combos are in this game, the more your ancient magic bar is filled
@@GeorgeSukFuki'm on 4000 health, 444 offence and 444 defence. Dmg is insane. Lowest offence on one item is 109 and highest is 114

What Talents do you use and what traits do you use on your gear? @jowlzaahNZ
All Core Talents except for the Last Protego one; Traits for this video I only had Diffindo I for three pieces of gear and the other three had Bombarda III, Incendio III & Confringo III - since then I've found Diffindo III; So currently now I use Diffindo III on three pieces of gear and Incendio III on the other 3 pieces of gear don't really bother with anything else for traits as I enjoy head on fights.
