I agree it definitely feels like something of a sequel to The Round Table, though I will say I am a fan of the switch to the gold color scheme. The overall delivery just seems relatively junior of a show design for a corp of this magnitude.

@@BFlatMarching Yea I also love the uniform switch in the closer but at this point in the season I don't know if adding the crown set will save them this year. Phantom has really stepped up their game this year and if they don't start pulling out all the stops soon they are going to end up coming in 5th, maybe even 6th. Crown is one of my favorite corps, but something needs to change.

​@@BFlatMarchingUm, the "switch" to the orange is...gee, what could it be guys? Fire maybe? The thought of dissing orange or saying "too much orange" would never occur to me since the show is about the God of Fire and fire in general. The music reflects it as well as the guard. The percussion reflects it too. Maybe the show is a bit tame compared to other years, but it will be awesome by Indy. Your comments about not being able to be "saved" are a bit much. Saved from what?

The members are great, it’s the show. It has some major pacing/ design issues. It’s time Crown learn their lesson and fire all the design staff, or members won’t keep coming back

@@pumpkin462 I agree. I got flamed for calling out their hornline weaknesses in an early season video, but the differences in this year's line addressing fundamental brass techniques are very obvious, sadly. I marched Star with Matt, so I am very well acquainted with those techniques...

It’s tough because having to buy new uniforms every season is a contributing factor to why so many corps are going bankrupt, but they definitely do enhance the product.

It’s part of their theme I think, it wouldn’t sound as glitchy if it wasn’t like that maybe

No offence, but on average, odds are you NEVER had the talent to perform at this level, so suck it up. I'm sorry, I don't like responding in this way, but as I said, this show is very important to me.

​@@BFlatMarching Just reading this now. FYI, my comment is actually to encourage them. I have been following all the corps for over 20 years. I thought BAC 2018 SOS was one of the most glorious shows I've ever seen, and I was the biggest White Whale admirer. I offer my honest opinion when I hear errors happening because I want to see them improve. Why are you so sensitive? You may have a friend in BAC right now, and that's great. I actually hope they win first this year over Bluecoats (my personal favorite currently) because Boston has not yet won a championship. I'm offering my honest take. Everything doesn't have to be all unicorns and rainbows in art. You may also notice that I post much positive feedback on different corps vids. Nothing I say is so "offensive" that it would require your much more "negative" comment. Let me clarify something for you. I am a professional classical pianist with a MM degree from Juilliard. I also attended Juilliard pre-college in high school as a bassoonist (so I do know something about wind playing.) I have brass players in my family. My younger brother is a hornist who graduated Curtis and went on to play in the Philadelphia Orchestra and other professional ensembles. Blah blah. I only say this to let you know I am not the ignoramus you're guessing I am. (But even if I weren't a musician, I still don't think it's wrong to make challenging or somewhat sarcastic comments on vids about a competitive musical activity.) Finally, I have a close relative in BAC right now. I have nothing to hide. My family is very close and we say what we feel, musically and otherwise. I may not show it in silly CZcams comments on vids that almost nobody sees, but I have been supporting BAC all season on a daily basis, and I want them to win. But I'd love it if Bluecoats wins too. My comments don't drag the morale down. How many people see them anyway? I'd like to see a change in the ending, and I'd like to hear less cracks in the brass. I'm blown away that any of these brass players can do squats and other rapid moves while playing virtuosic passages. My comment simply referred to the fact that I didn't hear it as clean in performance. Sorry if you don't wish to hear that. I definitely apologize for offending you with my feedback. I will refrain going forward. As of Atlanta, I made numerous comments on how the brass sound and accuracy has improved and other congratulatory comments. Anyway, I don't make any comments in the final two weeks of the seasons. Serves no purpose.
