He doesn't! GL Studio's price is way above of what would be most hobbyists' budget. This is a sophisticated tool intended for industry usage.

I love the M1070 and the 500 HP 8V-92 TT DDEC that they had,but these M1070A1 with the 700 HP C-18 make much more torque than the previous variations,also using different transmissions since the M1070 came with a CLT-754 while the A1 is equipped with a 4800SP.

The M1070A1 all use the 18.1L C-18 which is the 4 stroke just like the 15.2L C-15 ACERT that the M977A4-M985A4 has including the M1074-M1120. The M1070,also being a better looking truck,all had the 12.7L 8V-92 just like what the HEMTT and PLS use to have. The M1070 HET also had a CLT-754 while the A1 actually has the 4800SP.

Would the engine of an A1 swap and fit into the A0?
Both are literally the same truck with just different Hoods.The A1 all use the C-18 Caterpillar,the M1070 before the A1 all had the DD-92 (8V-92 TT DDEC) Detroit,until Detroit Diesel was bought out by Mercedes Benz.

Why not AGL? That's what Renesas nattily supports. Or I guess it because you use previous gen2 which is not supported anymore..

Thanks for the inquiry. These devices are built as proof-of-concept demonstrators for OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers of these types of clusters. Our company supplies the software for generating the graphics layer. Other companies, such as Renesas in this case, provide the SoC hardware. If you work for an OEM or Tier 1 supplier we're happy to discuss how our software GL Studio can be used in the production of a commercial cluster unit.
I, along with 2 classmates restored one in our Aeronautical Engineering course in High School back in the 80's. It was an awesome experience.

Thanks for your interest. Unfortunately this is not available for sale. It's a software demonstrator built using our UI development tool GL Studio. OEMs and Tier 1 manufacturers use our tools to build displays with similar functionality.
