Hey there! Have a 2023 Winnebago Solis Pocket and having charging probs for the house batts from while engine is running. Solar and shore power charges the house batts. Trying to diagnose the issue. Have narrowed down to: fuse to house batts, relay or solenoid from the chassis batt or alternator. Typically where is the fuse from the charger to the house batts? I’d like to check this as it seems like the simplest issue? Thanks!

Question, does the alternator current to charge the house batteries connect to the charger? I am not charging the house batts while the engine is running. Thanks, very good information!

Great video! Hey I'm getting 13.70 to my dc side on fuse panel but I'm not getting 13.70 on the fuse block on battery positive wire. New converter that's only getting ac power in but not DC out. Does this sound like I have a bad fuse panel? Thanks

I had the same problem with my 560ah LifePO4 battery. I'm using a Victron Smart Shunt so I can see the exact voltages and current. I discharged the battery till it shut off (it took days) and plugged the RV into shore power. It ran for a few hours at close to 55a then it dropped to 12-15 a. Still with a green light. I read others succeeded in geting it to auto detect with a blue light only to have it switch back to green lead acid mode. I found in my research that if you ask WFCO they will send you a jumper to force it to Lithium Mode, It goes on the small board int the back on connector J4 pins 5 and 6 with a 1k ohm resistor. I made my own and it does now come on with the blue light in lithium mode. However I am still not happy. It went into bulk mode and then into 14.6v absorption for 4 hours which is way to long. Then it dialed back to 13.75 which is a little high. That was last night.. This morning it was back at 14.6. Progressive dinamics replacement with a jumper for lithium mode. I called them and it is only one stage at 14.4v even after it is full. They have a differant one that is 2 stage but it is not a direct replacement. It has to be mounted some where else. I am going to try and see if I can adjust the WFCO voltage down to less agressive levels 13.5 v float % 14.4v absorpsion. Higher voltages are unnecessary and will shorten the life of a LiFePO4 lithium battery.

I have this same converter and the fuse board seems wronh i have to green 30amp fuse on bttm says reverse protection and then f6 is right above the two 30amp f6 says its a 15amp red wire to battery positive and as soon as i plug into shore power it pops f6 15amp fuse then i lose all 12v power i can unplug shore and put new fuse in and its good until i plug it in again. So i checked the positive conection at battery for continuity and just like that i have a dead short so i go back to converter to check at battery connection f6 15amp and once i put the 15amp so i can trace what fuse is giving me dead short every fuse oulet on the board shows contuinity so is the i ground to heater then touch any fuse sadder spot.i get a loud beep so it prettey much makes it imposible to trace where the dead short is with how the fuse board is designed very disapointing any ideas

I have removed the "AD" converter from our last two RVs. Auto detect units that DO NOT DETECT. WFCO should go back to a simple LA-LI switch. AD is a solution to a problem that doesn't exist.

How long are you going to keep pushing your "Auto Detect" that doesn't? Just go back to the switch. Nobody keeps changing their battery type back and forth. You must still think auto detect is a marketing advantage when it's nothing but problems for so many users? There shouldn't be a need to pull converters, send them back, replace boards. What a mess. It's not "automatic" if the user has to jump through hoops to get it to work. Every forum and group is full of complaints. What a poor design.

If I am on lead acid batteries and I change to lithium, I’m told the lithium battery will only reach an 80% charge with the charger. If the “complete cycle” only charges the new lithium battery to 80% is that enough for the charger to “auto-detect” a lithium battery and switch to a lithium profile, and then charge it to 100% ? Thank you.

I've got a 2007 Keystone, Laredo 27RL - my 12 VDC seems to be out at all lights, fans, etc. When I cycle the 110 VAC breaker that powers the inverter, the 12 VDC power seems to come on only momentarily then completely nothing again. No warning LEDs are apparent at the 15 amp fuses (blown fuse indicators) so would/could this be an indicator that the power A/C to D/C inverter is failed - and would a replacement be available from WFCO directly if a part number is found?? Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Thanks and great video!!!
