This video explains that you can create a professional looking video on a budget. I made the video (shown at 4.45} using a Gopro Hero 8, Crane M2 gimbal, tripod leg and finally imovie to edit. You can use your own smart phone FREE if you already own one. I used to have this lens, worked great, really liked the push pull zoom function. Was really hard on the wrist though, such a dense piece of kit.
Still a great lens if you can handle holding it I still use DSLR with the newer 24 -70 F2.8
@@tonysleigh6635 I ended up selling it and getting a Tamron 80-200 with VC, night and day difference with usability, doesn't have the funky bokeh of the Nikon one though. I found your video while researching a lens collar for it.
Grateful you showed us this camera-lens mount. I have a Nikon 80-400 mm f4.5-5.6 ED lens and although it comes with a collar I find there's a lot of vibration when there's even slight wind. This is primarily because of the large overhang of the lens. The attachment you showed provides a support at the end of the lens plus it balances the camera-lens assembly on the tripod. It solves more than one problem, it's excellent!
Thank you for your comment. Its a good problem solver and quick to use.
Very nice walkthrough! Thank you
Thank you. I have a similar lens and it is heavy. This will work for me.
It does work well
Its kind of weird, but thanks for the tip
Really cool video Tony. Well done 👍
Thanks so much Gra.
Good video! I would have been creeped out walking round the abandoned house :)
Was a creepy place but loved it.
Nice mate, I do everything on a budget and every film and photo I edit is on a phone , it's about being creative and you've nailed it 👍
Cheers for that Kris. I'm old school and still enjoy using equipment that is not necessarily the most up-to-date and expensive I'll be posting more videos in the future. Thank you so much for subscribing.
@@shuttermayhem no worries, enjoy the ride 👍
Very good welcome to the world of CZcams
Thanks Joseph
